friends who let you down

Has anyone ever had a someone who you thought was a friend who really let you down. Ok I know that no one is perfect but I had a supposely close friend who was in a real bind and I loaned her a good deal of money. (yes, I know that was a mistake) She promised to get it back to me within a month and it has been a year and I still do not have it. I do put much of the blame on myself for being so stupid. But who all has a story about something a so called friend has done to you.
