What do you guys think love is? define love in your own words and you can also compare it using love as an object. For example, Love is like a roller coaster, there are ups and downs in a relationship.

Hi there friend.. There are lot of ways to describe what love is but there is no exact word that can define what love really is. When we say love it has a lot of meaning because everyone of us has different ways in expressing it. If you have love in your life it can make up for a great many things you lack. If you don't have it, no matter what else there is, it's not enough.
Love is like air it gives life and gives meaning to our life although we can't see it but there are lot of ways to feel it and make the one you love feel it.
I have a favorite verse from the Bible that can help us to understand what love really is.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Wow you found my favorite verse in the bible ;) But yes love can be expressed in many ways and i wanted to hear other people's opinion of what they think love is and that verse you gave me is basically the overall answer to my question thank you =)
