Card Games

You know there alot of different card games out there for peoples enjoyment to play... My family was raised up on Spades and Rook; myself I can't play Rook but love the game of Spades... For the past three days my husband and I was introduced to a new game by my step-sons uncle.... It is called Phase 10.... It is such an enjoyable, exciting but competitive game... Very clean fun for the whole family to enjoy.... My husband and I have enjoyed so much that one night we played until 4:30am and the other until 5am... You just lose yourself in the game ..... It is possible to play up to 6 people to so you are able to have more people for the fun.... Has anyone else heard of the game? Do they enjoy playing? What card games do you enjoy with your family and friends?

I've heard of Phase 10 on commercials, and think I've seen it in stores. It's in a blue box with yellow or red lettering right? Well in any case, hubby and I play spades or Pat with our friends, sometimes a game called magic the gathering as well... it's a card game, kind of like yu gi oh.

Hearts use to be a big card game in my family. It is great for large groups and you use two decks of cards. You can go online to get directions. Too much information to tell you how to play on here. The lowest score wins. Hearts are worth points, and the queen of spades is worth 13. My Mom and I use to play Canasta. That is also played with two decks of cards. That took hours to play to kill time when the weather was crappy.

hello hagirl,
i have never heard those games that you mention and of course i don't know how to play it. but as you describe it, i feel like its really a fun game to do.
the usual that i enjoy playing with cards are just solitaire & poker!
there are also other some games that i enjoy playing before like lucky 9 and other games that i don't know what to call. haha my friends & i just play it and we are all having fun!
