Did you know Thyme is an herb Greeks, Eygtians, and Italians have used for centuries. I just thought it was something I used when I didn't have Oregano.
If you have an herb garden, that has Thyme growing in it, you can use every part of the plant as a medicine of some sort. You can crush thyme and seep it in your vaporizer to soothe those with bronchotis , astma, or respiraory problems. You can also crush it up make a paste and place it on your chest to expell the thick phlegm clogging up your system. It has been used to soothe sore throats, coughs, croup, whooping coughs.
It is also anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-septic. Taken internally will rid you of parasites, aid in gastro problems, relieve a hangover, and it is a great digestive aid, as well as curing halotosis (bad breathe), helps with "Thrush", and will aid in tooth decay.

I have used thyme succesfully with sore throats combined with honey and hot water, but never knew about the rest of its properties. Thank you for this information!
