Has anyone tried these yet? Are they worth it?

All the reviews seem to think they're great. The craze seems to be rivaling that of Crocs a few years ago.
My local stores can't keep them in stock, they're sold out as soon as they come in. I stopped by and called a few places trying to see them, and no one has any left.

I recently ordered my first pair of vibram five fingers. I have two women's komodosport vibrams and so far I love them! They take awhile to get used to, but I will never go back to normal running shoes again. You should know that if you do order them they are supposed to be snug! You may initially think they are too tight, but the shoes will break in. I almost returned my shoes, but after about two weeks they feel perfect.
I was worried that these shoes would not fit my very narrow, high arched feet, but it seems that these shoes will work with many different types of feet. So far, my only complaint with the shoes is that my toes get cold really easily. I do not wear socks with my vibrams though, so perhaps that would help.
I ordered my vibrams online from the vibram store and their sizing chart is really helpful. You should be aware that these shoes are only available from certain store retailers and the vibram website itself. These shoes are popular and there are a lot of "fake" vibrams out there. This is what happened to me. My boyfriend ordered me a $50 pair of komodosport vibrams and they are fakes. I kept them, but I still ordered the real komodosport shoes from the vibram website. The real shoes are much better made, so expect to spend around $110.
Good luck. I LOVE these shoes!

Interesting, I hadn't seen those! I will have to keep an eye out. I bet they are great for flat footed folks like me! LOL

These might be a great solution for me. I hate wearing shoes because I have wide feet and I don't like having my toes scrunched together. It sounds like these shoes would be quite similar to going barefoot, but would probably offer good support and protection. Next time I'm in the market for a pair of shoes, I'll definitely try to find these!
