I am 40 years old recently, my age they say is the start to be conscious about health, and monitoring is very important.
to do that i recently undergo the FASTING BLOOD SUGAR COUNT and CHOLESTEROL Determination to see if i am hypertensive or not.
these are my first step. soon i'll make health check a regular basis.
what about you, what is your form of monitoring your health? you can also suggest if you want.

hi alexysabelle as a longtime diabetic up til this last year I was doing my own cooking in my own apt.b ut events happened that landed me for now in this retirement center. okayh Im safe, roof over my head, all that crap, but the food they serve here is not slanted to help a diabetic keep their blood sugar where it belongs, so now my doctor wants to see me every three months with the additional fasting blood sugar count and cholesterol count, and all the other blood tests he always orders as I am not able to keep my blood sugar A1C down to 6 like I was doing so we need to make some adjustments. So I applaud you for making health checks a regular thing.

Had everything checked recently. Passed them with flying colors but mom still insists that I go on diet. Mothers can be soooo over-protective. Love her so.
