I regularly get a migraine, around two to three times a month and it kills me all the time. Before, paracetamol was enough to cure it, then as it intensified I switched to Ibuprofren (Advil), then to mefanamic acid (Dolfenal) and just recently, my doctor prescribed Napoxen Sodium --- Skelan! I thought this was just for arthritis and it really works! How about you? What do you take for your migraine?

Thankfully, I don't really get migraines unless I need to go to the chiropractor because my neck gives me problems, and that is the only time my head will ache. However, my husband and mom get them a lot. They like to take Excedrin Migraine because it takes it away for them. They get them really bad, especially my mom. She would always feel like nothing would help or take it away. She said that sometimes she has to take this medicine when she feels like a headache is coming on, and if she doesn't take it soon enough (no matter what medicine she takes) that it doesn't work. So I suppose there are advantages and disadvantages to any kind of medicine. Everyone is different in how their bodies will react to different medicines. I'm glad you've found something that works for you because I've heard how horrible these headaches can be!

I only get 1 every 2 months or so. I am not on anyprescription medicine so I take execedrin migraine, chocolate, coffee- anything with caffeine - but if it gets real bad I get nautious and then cannot keep anything down. I am good for nothing until it passes. I hate them.

hi keisey
am also facing migraine problems and actually going on medication. am using Avamiran but unfortunately it does not work on me..am looking for some natural cure or home based treatment. Where can we get the Napoxen Sodium , is it available on online shopping sites?

I suffer from migraine since my first pregnancy. Before, I never had even headache. But since then and mostly when calima comes (like people who suffers a rheumatism attack when it's going to rain) I get migraine. In my case it's still enough with Paracethamol 500mg which I take from two pills when it's still starting. Then I try to rest for a while.
