what is the best place in the Philippines that you have been.

hello dorothy! i am also from Cebu! but i am just an adopted daughter! hehe coz i originally came from Laguna. i think our country do have lots of beautiful places, hidden paradise! i think each province do have something to be proud of... i have never been to Bantayan Island but i have heard a lot of beautiful things about the place already and have seen it on pictures that make same really wanna visit the place. and i agree with you that there's really a lot of beautiful beaches here... and i also like the Kawasan Falls. i really find it beautiful with its blue water! i have been to Bohol as well and it is also beautiful in its on way...the Chocolate Hills are amazing. how about in Boracay? have you been there? me that's one place that i like visiting one day...

i am from the province of bulacan. but i have been here in the city of lapu-lapu in cebu province for more than 10 years. i love being here and i guess, i will remain a residence of this city for the rest of my life. this is one of the best place that i have been since i was born. and i have posted one of the best scenery that i have captured with my camera, the coral reef resort that can be found in marigondon, overseeing the island of olango.

Try Coron, Palawan. I loved the place! the beaches are really beautiful, and it's far from commercialization so it's really clean, and you can see nature at it's finest. I went there last year, and I want to go back this year, cause I still have a lot to see, as they have many islands there that has great beaches.. I can't wait to be back there!

Well I have been to baguio and it is nice you can experience Teacher's camp, strawberry feild and you can see the lion head. and it is nice that you visit bohol because lots fun to do you can go to Danao adventure park its really nice and mostly the famous thing is Diving under water

hi dorothy, nice to know you're a boholana by blood. you might notice that bohol is attached to my username in mylot cuz i'm from bohol. i've been in moalboal and its really a nice place. yeah there are a lot of tourist spots in cebu and its highly urbanized city/province(?). but here in bohol we have a lot to offer 'cause its ecotourism we offer here in bohol. we have a lots of places to offer around the island of bohol. yes danao is one of the lovely place and highlights here in bohol. i just learned that they are now making the 1.5 km zip line the longest zip line in asia and second in the world. we have the tarsier in corella and loboc towns and the floating restaurants in loboc town and in loay town which caters during weekend night time so that we could see the fireflies during the night around seven in the evening. its so amazing to see them glow in the dark where they really glow in unison. and their movements like swaying lights. when you come back to bohol see to it you can experience that. i think they operate only during weekends. we have also huge pythons here like the anaconda found in albur and maribojoc towns. we have the hinagdanan caves in dauis town and many more. so there are still a lot to savor in this island of bohol. we have also scuba diving and whale & dolphin watching and of course the chocolate hills, the sagbayan peak and the panglao beaches they are our forefront showcase here in bohol. so when in bohol you have to stay for at least three days to see these places.

Camiguin Island is also very interesting. With her "its there & its gone now" white Island, Cold Spring, Hot Spring, tallest Waterfalls i've ever been to, etc.. It is one island i'd like to visit again. Bohol is also very soothing. The way to Panglao Island from Bohol proper is such a wonderful scene. Bantayan is always my favorite. My husband & i are planning to go there again in the next vacation. Malapascua is small but total lovely. When its high tide, you are like you are in a Poster. :-) White beaches with clean water and those energetic waves...its aWoW! Boracay is also beautiful but also so populated. more islands i can not name all are all beautiful!

I am from the Philippines, i know so many nice & best places to go. Like in Palawan, i've been there and i can be proud of like El Nido,Underground River,Crocodile farm, etc. Also in Bicol Region, like the famous Waterfront Beach good for surfing and the like. Many to mention, like Boracay,Corrigidor in Bataan, Chocolate Hills in Bohol, Rice Terraces in Baguio City and many to mention. Just search the country of Philippines and u will find the best places to go on holidays, weekends & summer time. marilyn23

Probably Boracay, as I was just there this weekend and it's still pretty fresh in my mind. We went parasailing and reef-walking, and island-hopping (though I didn't really enjoy it as much as I've done it before and I get queasy every time LOL). But the best part for me is walking around the beach-front strip at night, when all the restaurants and shops are abuzz. I loved it, though my feet were killing me LOL. Traveling there wasn't so nice though as I am from Bacolod so we had to take a ferry and then an excruciating 7-hour bus ride to caticlan. I wish we could just hop on a plain to get there like those from Manila! Despite that, I still wanna go back! I want to ride a glass-bottom boat the next time!

Hello, Dorothy. I always wanted to travel but my money is not enough to have relaxing vacation. I always end up worrying with my expenses and most of my stay i didn't enjoy. SO, i guess i have to be more prepared before escapade. I enjoy beaches or anything with water and nature. I wanted to go to Palawan and enjoy the wonders of nature. So far, all travels/vacations and places I've been are not "best" to consider. I'm still looking forward to that. I hope my next vacation will be enjoyable and relaxing. No more bills to worry.

I have been to Baguio and I consider it the best place I have been to here in the Philippines. Though the place is just surrounded by mountains, it is best for place because of the climate that they have there. The place is beautiful because it is so green. I love that place and I am planning to go back there one of these days.

Hello!I'm proud to be a CEBUANA.harhar. I've been to few places. The best thing so far is moalboal. I love the white sand and they have a very nice beach. I've never been to Bantayan but it's a very ideal place to take a vacation. Boholana, I'm also one. My father is from there and I'm just a few blocks away from San Roque Church. I've been to chocolate hills and am planning to go to panglao this summer. I love vacations!

Live in the city but I love going to the Summer Capital named Baguio because it's the coolest place 365 days a year. Ride horses with my nieces. Or going to Tagaytay where the climate is a bit warmer than Baguio but the ride is only 1 to 2 hrs from where we live unlike Baguio which is 6 hours
