What do you usually do when you get stressed out?

I don't really easily get stressed out on my work or whenever I'm doing something but whenever I do, I would clean up... Strange but it does god to me, I mean I don't know why but when I'm stressed, I don't really go to a spa nor to a massage theraphy shop but to my bathroom holding a pair of brush and sponge. Cleaning the bathroom makes me feel at ease and comfortable. I think what I'm doing is nice because not only that I get to be relieved from stress but I also get to have a clean bathroom. Hahaha! How about you? What do you do when stress hits you?

if i feel im stressed, i just go to my room and sleep and when im awake i just be busy with mylot so i couldnt think of any. i also drink a lot of cold ice tea to relax myself. its important to free your mind from any worries or problem as it will help a lot.

I throw a fit, and yell, and throw something, then I think to myself ok ok this isn't helping I need to calm down, and figure this out. Sometimes it helps to stop thinking about the matter altogether. You find the things you need to figure out easier when you are not looking.

Yah I totally agree bro. I always empty my mind whenever I have a problem. This helps me sort things out and mekes it easier to think of a possible solution for it. Can't blame you if you throw thing out or yell coz sometimes it speeds things out. :-)

When i feel stressed out i make sure that i have some brisk walk and eat more bananas to ease and give comfort to my stress. I also make sure to have some little exercise to uplift my spirit. I also spend a nap or have 1 hour nice sound sleep to regain my strength. So when i feel okay i have to back to my routine work. marilyn23

I tend to go take a nice hot shower because it soothes my body and allows my mind to calm down. There are times when I also would go lie on the bed or go get something to eat. I hate stress and I try my best to avoid getting it. Unfortunately, it's not possible until I'm done with school.

You are such a kind of funny guy and you do have unique style and whenever i get stressed i used to sit alone and cry because i cannot share my feelings to anyone thats why my dear but i like the way u do keep it up!

in my case, whenever i feel like stressed out, i watch a movie in a cinema but not in a dvd or online movie. watching it in a cinema makes me relax. sometimes, i just go wander around the mall and see many faces and stuffs i like.

When I get really stressed out I find the only way for me to calm down again is to walk away from the cause of the stress and find somewhere peaceful for a while. I also find meditation useful when things are really bad.

When I am stressed out, i just do things that can make me happy such as mylotting, visiting my favorite websites, shopping, going to out of town trips, etc... going to out of town trip is definitely the best thing that can help me feel relaxed.. in fact, when i was depressed due to my school problem, i just went out with my hubby and enjoyed an overnight stay at Tagaytay Econo Inn.. We had a wonderful dinner at Greek Taverna and hot tea while enjoying the cool weather.. :)

I turn into Suzy home maker as well. I clean uncontrollably, bake anything I can think of and do things like iron the curtains (something I don't normally do) just to get some of my nervous or angry energy out in a positive way. I also quilt or knit when I have run out of other things or like when we lost a baby I wasn't physically able to do the cleaning.

whenever I am stressed out I write on my computer. I have two folders on my laptop marked my computer nerd and computerlover. One of them is my journal and the other is a folder of how to articles I want to publish as soon as I have enough time to do them. I also clean house and bake. I have also noticed that dusting helps me release stress.

It depends on the situation. Sometimes I can handle it quite well. But, if it hits me hard and fast I usually have a panic attack and end up sleeping it off. Panic attacks usually leave me physically drained. So I usually can't do anything else. Quite often I like to type a lot to decompress if I am stable enough to handle such a venture.

oh when I am stressed same as you, i clean the house, but not all the time, as also noticed to myself that whenever I am stressed out, i always play computer or just write an email to my fiance and let him know everything that's been going on in my mind. Like writing makes me feel better, if i dont get to talk to anyone about it, i just write, and after all that, i feel releived.

Usually there are 3 things I do when I'm stressed from schoolwork and work overall: 1) I go ride my bike for a few hours - helps the best 2) I take a stress ball and squeeze it as hard as I can for an hour or so. This really helps 3) I play some fun computer games. These may sometimes help but sometimes they make you even more stressed :P Just find a good hobby you can do whenever you like and when you get stressed, just go out and do it. Listening to your favourite music while doing so might relieve it even better! Good luck getting rid of that stress!

when i get stressed out ., i usually go out with my friends and watch movies or have manicure or footspa or anything that will make my stress out. i also go to massage house for relaxation.

wow your way of making yourself stress free is kinda expensive. haha.. i just ate ice cream and never listen to a sad music. usually i just played some rnb songs to make me feel okay.

When i am stressed out, i go out of the building and walk.It helps to clear my mind so i can think things thoroughly.Listening to music is also helpful since it tends to relax your mind and stimulates it to remember good memories.
