meditation is a holistic discipline by which the practitioner attempts to get beyond the reflexive,"thinking" mind into a deeper state of relaxation or awareness. maditation is a component of many religions, and has been practiced since antiquity. it also practiced outside religious traditions. different meditative disciplines encompass a wide range of spiritual or psychophysical practices that may emphasize different goals-from achievement of a higher state of consciousness,to greater focus, creativity or self-awareness, or simply a more relaxed and peaceful frame of mind. i liki to do this because i dont have time to jogging in evening bcause from maditation i can spend more time at my work place or at my home.

actually i tried it once with music that i downloaded from you tube. those are yoga music. very relaxing. but i just hate my environment coz the cars on the street are very noisy and it always distract me. maybe i can do it if theres no noise around me that will distract me. its so nice to have meditation.

I used to meditate regulary in my school days. Yoga was one of the class for all the students. It really beneifted me during my exams to concentrate on my studies. Even i used to practice it but not regulary.

Meditation is one of the best habit one can learn. By doing meditation one can attain the peace of mind and kick out the stress. For students it has plenty of advantages, one of the benefit is that it improves the concentration that is pretty essential for the students. I tried it several times but was not able to continue longer.
