I always read first the title of the discussions and when i get interest on it, i read the the whole topic. Because i dont want to response to the topic if i dont have any idea in it, in which i wanted to share to them my message that comes from my heart.
In your way, what prefers you to get interest why you made a responses to the mylot member in their discussions?

Yeah people should be more truthful with their topics. Many times I have seen a topic posted that caught my attention. I am thinking "oh now this seems interesting. I would like to discuss this." But the actual topic is different from the title. Usually not as interesting as the title. something like Title: The impossible is possible, if blah blah blah. actual topic: what is your favorite color?

Yes, I believe the title of the topic is very important. It usually represents the rest of the article to follow. When looking for a discussion I read the Title of the discussion. If it sounds like it is something that interests me I read the rest of the discussion. Sometimes the title catches my eye and the rest of the discussion is really not about that....that really irks me.

Of course the title is important. Obviously it is the one that catches your attention first. It basically tells what your thread is all about. However even when the title is catchy enough, it would still depend upon the person if it piques his interest or not. Say the topic is about computers and the title is "An All New Software That Would Change Your Life" . I wouldn't respond because I am not interested in the least bit.
