I like to eat rice more, for sure. Rice is a food, which I never get bored off. Rice is the major food of my community. I have been eating rice from childhood, but I am not bored of it yet. Infact, I have rice almost everyday. I feel lost if I miss rice inone day and that happens very rarely. I try different side dishes for rice.

By the way,I found this interesting poem about Spaghetti and soup online and perhaps you may like it :
Spaghetti
Spaghetti,
Spaghetti,
Heaped in a mound;
Spaghetti,
Spaghetti,
Winds, winds around.
Spaghetti,
Spaghetti,
Slips, dips, and trips;
Spaghetti,
Spaghetti,
Slithers and drips;
Spaghetti,
Spaghetti,
Slurps, sloops, and droops;
Spaghetti,
Spaghetti,
Comes in groups;
Spaghetti,
Spaghetti,
Twists, turns, and bends;
Spaghetti,
Spaghetti,
Never ever ends!
Oodles of Noodles
I love noodles. Give me oodles.
Make a mound up to the sun.
Noodles are my favorite foodles.
I eat noodles by the ton.
Cooking Stone Soup
We're cooking stone soup,
We're cooking stone soup,
Stir the pot,
It's getting hot,
We're cooking stone soup.
First, we add potatoes,
First, we add the potatoes,
Stir the pot,
It's getting hot,
We're cooking stone soup.
What do you think?

Hey cream97, I found the following story funny and want to share it with you.
Diary of a blonde newlywed
Dear Diary,
Monday:
Now home from honeymoon and settled in our new home, it's fun to cook for Bob. Today I made an angel food cake and the recipe said, "Beat 12 eggs separately." Well, I didn't have enough bowls to do that, so I had to borrow enough bowls to beat the eggs in. The cake turned out fine.
Tuesday:
We wanted a fruit salad for supper. The recipe said, serve without dressing." So I didn't dress. But, Bob happened to bring a friend home for supper that night. Did they ever look startled when I served the salad.
Wednesday:
I decided to serve rice and found a recipe which said, "Wash thoroughly before steaming the rice." So I heated some water and took a bath before steaming the rice. Sounded kinda silly in the middle of the week. I can't say it improved the rice any.
Thursday:
Today Bob asked for salad again. I tried a new recipe. It said, "Prepare ingredients, then toss on a bed of lettuce one hour before serving." I hunted all over the garden by my mom's. So I tossed my salad into the bed of lettuce and stood over there one hour so the dog would not take it. Bob came over and asked if I felt all right. I wonder why?
Friday:
Today I found an easy recipe for cookies. It said, "Put all ingredients in a bowl and beat it." Beat it I did, right over to my mom's house. There must have been something wrong with the recipe, because when I came back home again it looked the same as when I left it.
Saturday:
Bob went shopping today and brought home a chicken. He asked me to dress it for Sunday. I'm sure I don't know how hens dress for Sunday. I never noticed back on the farm, but I found a doll dress and some little shoes. I thought the hen looked real cute. When Bob saw it, I wondered why he counted to 10.
Sunday:
Today Bob's folks came to dinner. I wanted to serve roast, but all we had in the icebox, was hamburger. So I put it in the oven and set the controls for roast. Must be the oven, because it still came out hamburger.
Good night, Dear Diary.
This has been an exciting week. I am eager for tomorrow to come, so I can try a new recipe on Bob.
What do you think?

Well, that's a good question! I think I like spaghetti slightly more than rice. I don't cook them myself, so I can't share any recipes for that. I like to have them with cheese and soy sauce, it tastes incredibly good!

Well, my friend.
I'm from Bangladesh and rice is our staple food. I've never tasted spaghetti. So, I can't tell whether I'll like them or not. I think they are delicious.
Have a nice eating.

Wow,your sauce recipe is so attractive that I really need to response and make comment about that.It is definately a yummy one and I want to try that too.Ah ha..I love mushroom a lot whether it is with spagetti or not.You make me suddenly think of pizza and coke.Cole slaw and stuffs like that.mmmmm....yummy again.I am thinking my good old days in Canada.I still remember I have been to a place called mother pizza in Ottawa.Their deep dish pizza and spagetti was surely the best in town.And the Garlic bread..mmmm..who wants to miss it.But it was long time ago and I am not sure if that restaurant is still exist or not.Well,time go by fast and the pizza and spagetti in my city right now can never compare with what I had in Ottawa.But well,at least they are better than nothing.Well,enjoy your recipe more and creat some more new one .Have a good day.

Out of the two, I prefer spaghetti more. The way we cook spaghetti is simple, noodles, ground beef and ragu spaghetti sauce. we have bread to go with it, and sometimes a salad, but there's nothing special we put on our spaghetti. I like Parmesean cheese on mine from time to time.

I love both rice and spaghetti but my favorite would have to be spaghetti. I can eat it so many different ways and I love it so much I could really eat it everyday. I can have spaghetti with marinia sauce, meat sauce, olive oil and spices. I could also eat it with just olive oil and cooked veggie all mixed together.

Rice is always the main food at the table in my family.
But my kids also loves spaghetti or some pasta food,like macaroni chicken salad,soups and fettuccine.
I can say that,once a week...i had to cook spaghetti for my kids,mostly during weekends..they like to eat spaghetti instead of rice.

I don't think that I have a real preference for either of these carbohydrates in my diet. Of course when I am cooking Italian style food I will cook with pasta and a lot of other times I will cook with rice. However, there is not one of them that I prefer over the other. Also, I don't always have pasta or rice with every meal that I prepare. I used to like rice more but I've discovered whole grain pasta and it is so good that now I really like that as well.

i eat rice for lunch and dinner most of the time. or i take noodles that are made from rice. at times i take porridge which is also rice boiled with more water. the porridge are either plain porridge eaten with salted vegetables, salted eggs, salted fish, sliced ginger and fried onions with shredded chickens or fish slices. i spiced up with soyasauce and a little sesame oil. or the ingredients are put in the porridge. the other rice dish i love is claypot chicken rice. here the rice is nearly cooked and i put in the marinated chiken pieces with mushroom and salted fish and stir well. its a wholesome delicious dish.fried rice is another speciality of mine. i cook yam rice, vegetable rice of long beans,briani rice, tomato rice,waxed rice, bamboo rice, lotus rice and a few others. try them and see how your tastebuds react to these various recipes made from rice.

rice, anytime, wildlittlefan. but it's always in moderation. rice is out staple food, not pasta. probably, if we're italians, i would prefer pasta. but we are not. i also learned that pasta is a very good source of carbo and it can spike one's blood sugar just like rice. but like rice, pasta can also be taken in moderation. still, it's rice for me... anytime....

Rice is our staple food, too, so it's just natural that you see rice being served in our household. However, I can live without eating so much rice, or probably none at all, because I got used to eating noodles or pasta and bread. If I am to choose between rice and spaghetti, I would choose the latter.

I eat rice daily. cooked in different ways and with different vegetables.But I still like to eat rice. If I had to eat spaghetti every day then I would not like it. I would eat spaghetti once in a while but not every day replacing rice.

well...from the part of the world i come, south of india, rice is pretty much our staple food. we have rice twice a day and some brunch in the morning. our food tends to be quite spicy and tangy as well. we are well know for the hot dishes that we prepare. if you go north, then wheat is consumed much more than rice.
