hey. promote your country or city. City is even better. Why promoting? because mylotters are all over the world and they are just love to travel. Promote your city's famous dishes, cultures, clothing, buildings, or even the events happening.

This is a good question. I belong to the town of Alleppey in South India. My town is famous of backwaters. It is a tourist attraction with lots of lakes and rivers. It is also famous for sea food. You can rent a house boat for site seeing, if you come to Alleppey. You can also rent a house boat for over night stay. It is called 'Venice of the East'.

As far as I am concerned, I think my city is famous for the water which is flooding in the center of my city. The river is so clean to see the fish the deep of the water. It is known to all that the river is named QiHe,which is flooding for so long a time. Then people around the river can benefit a lot from it .I enjoy the river so muc, too.

Hi cintoy :) first of all i'd like to say that this is a very good question. i live here in the Philippines specifically in Cavite, a place where it is known as the "home of the heroes". Why? the most prominent heroes here in the Philippines live here in Cavite and recently a new Filipino CNN hero of the year Efren Penaflorida lives here in my hometown Cavite. Penaflorida is known for teaching out of school youths through his pushcart classroom wherein he invites students to attend his class through giving away foods :)

I live near Torrevieja in Spain, which is famous for its salt lakes. The hot, dry heat here makes it the healthiest place in the world for people with arthritis and breathing problems. The salt from our lakes is exported all over the world for gritting roads and for commercial use, such as in dishwashers.

Hi cintoy, I am from Malaysia. A small country lies on the east of yours. We have the same climate and almost everything is similar I suppose. The only different thing is volcanoes are not available here. I had been to the fascinating island, Bali in your county. I love the attractive landscapes, foods and people there We do have beautiful islands with natural beaches and landscapes here. The most famous one is Tioman Island. It is located in sea not far away from the east coast of the peninsular. Tourists like to spend their holidays having all kinds of fun and exciting water activities there. Many foreign tourists like the local foods here. For those who love spicy food really enjoy eating the famous local food here, Nasi Lemak. It is a type of rice prepared from coconut milk and eat together with spicy dishes served. There are still many delicious local food served here like sates, etc I live in the northwest coast of the peninsular. It is a small town with most rainfall. The hot tourist sites available here are mangrove forests, charcoal-kiln. Mangrove trees are the raw materials for making charcoal. Fresh and yummy seafood with reasonable price is another thing here to engage the interest of tourists to visit our place. Happy posting

Thanks for liking the view here. Hopefully you have chance to visit the view in the east coast. The seascapes available there are totally different from that in the west, for it is facing South China sea. The beach is very much attractive there. Due to the risk caused by the northeast monsoon tourists are not allowed to have sea activities by the end of the year. Fishermen stop their fishing activities as well.

Well, Medan is a very interesting city. I believe when anyone visit Medan, they will see the wonderful traffic. People says that when you are able to drive a car and safe in Medan, then you can drive anywhere in the world. LOL Medan is the community of Bataknese where you can see lots of scary faces but with wonderfully kind heart. Medan is the paradise of foods from traditional to complicated foods, from very expensive to very cheap foods, deliciously served to suit any kind of stomach and wallet. Medan is the place where you can see lots of community/races working together in harmony, even though the mother tongue of each races is still spoken publicly. ^^ So, visit Medan 2010. ^^ btw.. Jakarta is very nice as well. Well described of Jakarta, Ridwan.

If you search for the poem on line, you will find it.

I live in Estonia and my country is famous for it's online solutions I think. We have e-government, e-school, e-bank and many other services available via the Internet. You can do all your bank operations online and keep an eye on your account. There are also different options for filling and submitting various documents to the state departments and establishments. E-school is an application that allows students to keep an eye on their marks at school and get information on homeworks, communicate with school and so on. So yea, our country is quite developed in online services. But we also have beautiful untouched nature, hehe

E-government is a system of different Internet pages. For example it allows you to access all the legislature and laws. You can communicate with different governmental institutions, send different declarations and documents. The variety of options is very wide, because you can perform almost all actions you need without even need to go to the institution in person. There's a system of a digital signature developed, so you can sign different documents by using your ID-card (it's like a passport, but in the form of a plastic card). There are many sites that you can access using that solution. It's quite complicated to explain the whole system, because there are so many options and stuff. Hope you have kind of idea now about what is the e-government.

That's new information for me again. Care to explain more about e-government? Estonia is surely a technology and online country. everything is done online. nice. i wonder when it would be the time to just sit down and do everything online starting from ordering food, drinks, etc..

I live in the USA and we're famous for so many things! Specifically, I live in Jasper, Alabama and we were noted for the coal mining industry for several years. However, a lot of the coal mines have been shut down for a long time. There are still a few open, though. They were all the time going on strike and it would affect a lot of businesses. Kathy.

My land is India. I live in Temple city, the name of the city is Madurai. In and around there are Temples. The construction of the Temple was by Very big stone pillars. The Pillars are carved with many arts. Each temple will have small pond that will help to keep the underground water. If one go around the temple, it will be very good exercise with peace in mind. I can not think of moving the Pillar stone even a millimeter. But in those days there were not any Crane to lift , they erected such a big big pillars.

My city is famous for its medieval architecture. The old city walls and towers are still here and other old buildings too and even old streets. My city is in the middle of Transylvania, a region in Romania, famous for the old medieval architecture. We have a medieval tower with a clock which has a similar inclination as the tower of Pisa in Italy.
