Last night I was working on my computer and my husband was eating some sliced mangoes with some kind of spice. I don't know why its been his habit to chew loudly, he can't even learn how to close his mouth, lol. I keep telling him that but what irritates me most is that it happens every meal. Somehow I have spoiled his mood while he was enjoying his snack, coz I asked him if I could borrow the earpiece that we have so I could just listen to the music than the sound of his mouth. It's also annoying to hear him hitting the spoon against the plate coz it kind of produces an echo that vibrates to my ear. Am I normal?

You are not alone.
My family members were taught by the elders to eat silently with the mouth closed. Not only the sound produced can grate the ears, sometimes noticing the food being chewed in the mouth can spoil the appetite.
Your husband should learn to respect your needs instead of holding on to his rights in making a lot of noise while eating. There are cultures which see it as an act of arrogance.

Well,I think you are normal and it seems to make sense to me that why you are upset about this.I was taught that making noise while eating was impolite, and irritated people sometimes. Most of the time I don't pay attention to people's eating habits unless they irritate me before and then the noise will draw my attention. Am I normal by behaving like that?

Well I can totally understand when my dog eats like that coz its a dog... maybe the thought having to persistently telling him not to and he still does it, i guess that makes things worse. There are days I could ignore it coz its bearable and there are also times I can't. What's funny, he is more refined when we dine outside.
