Two of my close friends here in Thailand will go back home for good. We just had a small party for them and it's kinda sad actually. I was so touched when they said that it's hard for them to say goodbye but there's no easy way to say goodbye if it's really goodbye, is there?
I just wonder how you feel when people close to you said goodbye?

Will they be returning to Thailand again? I know it is sad to say goodbye but technology now is very advance, three of you can have conference with cam chats online. Well, every meetings will have goodbyes. No party last forever, right? As long as you still keep in touch with one another, i think it should be all right.

I am not exactly sure if returning to Thailand is a possibility. They themselves aren't not sure too. And what you said about advance technology? Well, we maximized it. We exchange numbers and emails and even invited each other to social networking sites like facebook etc. No party last forever...I agree..It just too difficult

that would be the hardest things that ever happened to you. i hope three of you will gather again.
i do feel sad when someone closed to me said goodbye. i will let my self alone and reminisce all the time that we spent together. usually i give three days to do that way, after that i will make my self busy to fill the emptiness

Nice "routine" (lack of term hehe) you have there if you are alone. It is really sad but things happen for a reason and we just need to find ways to alleviate at least the loneliness. We just need to move on and get on with our lives. I am just looking forward to the "togetherness" thingie in the future lol.

There are no goodbyes when it comes to friendship. These days, we can use email or chatrooms the only difference is you don't see each other face to face like what you used to but that won't hinder the times you've spend together. All it matter is that you still keep in touch with each other.

Very nice answer and i think this one deserves the best response. Just because there is distance between two friends, doesn't mean that friendships won't be nourished, won't grow or be hindered for that matter. Although distance might somehow be a factor, i am a firm believer that it will never take away the essence of being "friends". Other than that, thanks to the internet--everything is within reach hehe...
