have you ever received this notification? how have u felt when u received this?

hello alilin, It is always great to receive such notification/s. Even if i already receives few best responses,each time i receive the notification that my response was selected as best...i always had same feeling like the first time i receive my best response. When i choose best response from my respondent,i chose the person's response becoz,i feel it is the right or best thought that suits to my topic. Sometimes,the moment i read the response,i just felt the writer's thought,how he/she wrote his/her response,and that made me select their response as the best response. I don't know with other mylotters how they select best responses from their topics. I think each of us had their own standards for choosing their best responses.

I didn't think people still got best responses anymore it's been so long since I received a notification about a best response until I don't even expect them anymore. The landscape of mylot have changed mylot members use to award best responses but here lately most just don't take the time to award them. I don't rarely go to my unresolved discussions to award some responder a best response. ...

It is always good to get recognition for something you have done well. Too often in life our good efforts are overlooked. Often, the best response stands out from all the other posts and your decision is easy. At other times it is very difficult to make a choice. I agree with the post above - it is much better to leave the selection till later to give a chance to a member to make an outstanding contribution to your discussion.

alilin29 yes quite a few actually and I am always excited when I get one as it shows me i must be doing something right. I am always worried I did not do quality work and lately withe the outspoken newcomers criticizing the discussions of older people here I feel even more in doubt of my work being quality. But to all nay Sayers, look nobody can please everybody all the time and I try my best to do quality work. and if my best is not good enough for you,you put your blasted discussions where your mouthiness was and show us poor benighted oldies what good discussions are,if not then shut up about it.It is depressing to read all the negative discussions lately saying the older people here make horrible dull boring discussion. for one thing that they manage to be insulting and get away with not having their discussions deleted is beyond me. It is really easy to criticize someone else's discussions but harder to come up with ones that will please all concerned. Also why all the negativity, because nobody forces anyone to stay here at all if they dislike our discussions so much.

It makes me feel really great that someone has takeen the time to read my response and has given me the best response wile doing so. I also will give out the best response, but I do wait awhile, as mylot says we are to wait at least a week before we give it, to give others a chane to respond that want to. I also feel good when I can give it as well, as I am making another person feel good at teh same time. I still have some to give out, but I am not in any hurry to do so, as it is just an ego booster and doesn't affect our earnings at all. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Yup, I received many notification since I am joining here. This is really a kind of encouragement to make more comments and some articles to post. This is also increase our earnings capability. Your so generous of posting discussion, alilin. This is great in your part because you make more as you post more and but those post must have more comments to get some in here... I love to participate in your discussion, alilin. Cause your my dear friend here...

everyday..i always respone but none of my respone mark as best.. do you will mark my respone as best??

Yes i got a couple of comment which have been voted as good ones, and im really proud of it. Its really nice that they monitor discussions and responses here, sometimes it just becomes a race for points. Some dont even read carefully what you are talking about , they just type and type that u find the response very irrelevant to the issue at hand. Thats why we given options to state our interests so that we participate on discussions that we think are interesting.

I have made response 203 times and I got notifications that my response was the best response just once. I feel proud even it was just once. This is just like appreciations for me. This notifications is stimulus for me to be more creative. Now my motivation higher than before.

Its been great to recieve this notification but i am a newbie in mylot upto now i didn't get any notification of my comments.So i am trying my best to recieve notification in my mail from mylot.

i always post inquiry type discussions and i choose the best response based on how satisfied i was with the comments. if i was looking for some sort of information and someone gave just what i was looking for then i will choose that as the best response.

Of Course when everybody receive notification like that.. ^_^ there no reason for a person who receive it to be felt bad because in the first place its a very good thing that people will receive such good comment.
