and that's completely what I thought after my boyfriend said I need to answer the phone right. How do you NOT answer a phone right? Okay, okay so I see on the caller id that isn't unavailable so I don't even bother. He comes into the kitchen and said are you going to get that, I say nope, and he shakes his head and walks in the other room. Hey, if you wanted someone to talk to ya, then don't hide your phone number. It rings again, like the good little girl I answer it and then hang it up. Who was that he asks, I don't know got a recording , his said yeah, but it could have been important, my comment then they can have a human call me. So, I'm beginning to find out this kind of annoys him I'm sorry but I'm not interested in the latest way to re-finance something or calls from the help this cause now kind of stuff. Not only do they annoy me on my land line, they are calling on my cell phone too. So I don't deal well with marketing calls - I never have. My oldest boy used to be a bit 'chatty' so after the first 3 no thank you's (like you have to say that 3 times) I'd just give the phone to him and say the nice lady on the phone wants to know about out dog. I think my boy was 4 at the time. Kept him occupied for awhile though. I'm not mean, really I'm not. Most of my college years were spent behind a phone doing the same kind of cold calls that we all get everyday, but the difference is when they said no, I didn't have to go into another 3 minutes of this or that to make the person feel they had to buy whatever I was selling to just get me off the phone. Phew. So? Any annoying habits you have that irritate the other half? Any funny little storys? How did you annoy the one you love today?

Hello Kprofgames! I heard a joke a while back about this guy who pretended to be a cop and there was a murder, so he asked the guy calling what his name was and pretended he was a suspect in the murder. It was hilarious!! I wish I had the time to do that but I dont. Ive cancelled my landline and now Im using my cell only. When I dont know the number, I dont answer........period!!

well the one I love is only myson and he does not live with me, but in an apartment with three other guys all looking for work. when we had our own apt. he used to tell me do not give out any info make them ask you who you are, so now I do that to, and usually its a canned telemarketer trying to fix my credit rating. one persistent person wanted to buy my timeshare, well now I said,if you can find my timeshare yes I will sell it to you, she said what do you mean, and I said loudly I do not have a time share, I never have had one, I do not intend to buy one now either. But she says, it say s right here Patsie hatley has a time share, I replied well you are wrong, I am now going to hang up. then I got a call wanting Rene, I told the young man, There is no Rene here, he yelled get Renee on the phone this instant. I repeated there is no Rene here. He yelled you liar put her on the damned phone for I come over and break her neck,. then is when I called the phone company to put a trace on my line. then a lady called wanted Mrs., Morrison, aha I thougth, is her first name perchance Renee, she said "How did you know" I told her about the young Mexican man who threatened me, and sshe told me,"thats that horrible ex husband of hers. there is a restraining order against him." So ended the saga of Rene, never did find out how it ended.

I do not like the phone calls where people are talking about something but sometimes the automated stuff is important so I'd atleast listen for a minute. OF course you can usually tell if it's important, like having to do with doctor's offices, or warranties on items, appointments from the cable company, etc. I don't try to annoy my husband, and he's been at work all day so I don't believe I've annoyed him today. He just got home and I set the game up for him before he got here, unpacked his lunch boxes, put up his rain pants, and put his dirty clothes on the hamper...

Well we never really purposely annoy our partners - it was a figure of speach, but I agree I don't like telemarketing calls. Even though I worked at it once, there has to be a point that no is no.
