What kind of dog should I get?

Hello lotters, I'm looking for a dog to travel with. I have a long list of requirements lol. The dog should be small, short hair, good with kids and easily trainable. I had a taco bell dog once that fit all those but I've heard that is rare for that breed. Please give me some suggestions!

Well, then how about a Shitzu? I have a Shitzu and he's not that noisy compared to other dogs. Mostly behave and very good with kids...It can grow a very long hair but you could trim it...

i agree, shihtzus are lovely, although it doesn't fit your hair requirement, you could trim it to be short or you could bring with you a hairbrush always...

Thanks but I really want nothing to do with grooming or cutting hair, lazy on my part I know. Was thinking possibly a beagal but don't know much about them except from the internet info, wish I knew somebody with one /sigh.

Chihuahua is a small cute dog but most are fiesty, no? Looking for one that will play with the kids. Thanks for responding

try buying a shi tzu or a chowchow. i really love them. they are so cute and very furry! you will have fun trying to change their looks and buying them dog clothes.
