well there is nothing wrong in kissing a small baby but things that should be considered are your lips should be clean other wise it will surely affect the baby's skin as there skin are very delicate if you wanna kiss then kiss them litely

I think so ! The little child have a weak immunity, and the world has a lot of virus,so we should protect the child against the virus! I think you can do that till the child is one !

If you mean'infection' then the answer is a definite'yes'.Just handle the kid gently without kissing it .It is a three month old one and would be very vulnerable at this stage.

Hi, sathishss. I was told that it is not always so good to kiss a baby when they are just born. Our skin and perfume can irritate a child's skin. Their skin is very pure and their skin tissues are still regenerating. So, it is best to not kiss a baby on the face.

I have three nephews and the third one is also three months old and we were advised by the doctor not to kiss the baby because it will cause rashes and the doctor was right. I just think that our bodies carry dust and these dusts have bacteria in them. Once it came contact with a baby's skin which very sensitive will have a reaction since the foreign bodies are stronger than the baby's system. The bacteria on your skin that causes the rashes not the kiss. My mom always told me to wash my hands and face before I carry the baby.

Well most people say to try and not touch or kiss newborn in there face since their skin is sensitive and may cause them to break out in a rash. Me personally I dont like to touch other people new borns to much, I noticed with my son when people kissed him in his face he did break out in a rash, but my daughter never did. Alot of people also say dont play with young babies hands because they keep them in their mouths alot and it is very easy to pass germs from us to them that way.

My nephew was only three months old when he suffered from some sort of allergic reaction. I think babies were really prone to allergies especially when they have very delicate skin.

Yes, What your Aunt and Mother told was true only... We have to take too much of care while we kiss or doing something with newborn baby... Otherwise it gives bad results... Most of the doctors advising the same too... So we have to take care about these things...

I don't think so. I have never heard this statement. In my home a lovely baby is often kissed. I kissed my niece when she was a baby. It didn't cause any infection. I feel some people are worry about the babies too much.
