For men: what do you think of this?

I have many beautiful female friends that are still single and it seems that men are not interested in them. Besides, my friends are good persons, funny and open-hearted. So I remembered that once a male friend of mine told me, that men like to look at beautiful women and to talk how they want to be closer whit them, but in practice, they dont't want to mess up with beautiful women when it comes to something more serious. And the reasons in his point of view were that usually a beautiful woman has much more pretentios than a not so beautiful one. So a man prefer to not border himself much and have a serious relation with a beatiful woman. What do you think of that?
