Would you prefer driving to work, taking a bus or walking to work?

If my job was close to where I lived, I would definitely walk but it is in another city so I prefer driving. I am not sure if I would feel safe on a bus with the way some of our drivers drive these days. I feel safer driving to work. How about everyone else? Which would you prefer? Or some other means?

I work 30 minutes away from my house so i prefer driving to work. There is not a bus line near my job. If my job was close maybe i would consider walking for exercise.

My job is 30 minutes away from my job as well and prefer driving over the bus.

I would love to be able to walk to work. It would definitely be more healthy!! I don't mind taking public transportation, but unfortunately, unless you're in New York City, public transportation is not adequate to truly consider it a viable alternative.

I would love to be able to walk to work as well and I agree that it is healthier than any other form of transportation. My job is too far away to walk so I would have to drive or take a bus. I have to drive a bit just to get to a park and ride place so I may as well drive.

I am a stay at home wife/mom/homemaker so I don't have to drive to work. I do however have to take my boys back and forth for work and school activities, so I prefer to drive. We live about 10-15 minutes from town, so there is no bus here to utilize anyways.

With gas prices the way they are, you are fortunate not to have to drive to work. Driving is what I prefer and feel safer than public transportation. There is no bus within walking distance of me though there are some park and rides.

it depends . how far is it? how long does it take to go there? to use a car... maybe can give us more enjoyable and relax but tire. greeting....

well, in Penang, Malaysia, practically most everyone have a car, and normally we will drive to work. i think the last time i was on a public bus was about 10 years ago. my Honda City is fuel-efficient, so i havent feel the 'pinch' yet for the increase in petrol. not only it's safer, but you can reach your destination faster.

If gas prices keep getting higher, I may start taking a bus but for now I will continue driving my saturn. I am thinking about getting a Honda after the holidays.
