Are you with someone because of contenment? Part 2

Do you find yourself looking around, wondering if you're with the right person? Is there anyone else out there that will pull me out of my hole that I've dug? Will i be loved more by a new partner? I'm currently in a 7 year relationship and believe me we've had more down's than up's! which isn't the best thing in a relationship, but they do say the best thing after an arguement is the making up! BUT, what if you've gone past that and you don't so much fall out but have little and often grumbles that lead to awkardness and silence, which slowly lessens till you're finally getting on again! Where's the excitement gone? Could it be due to having kids? They say don't get married as the bedroom naughtiness goes downhill, but my partner joked the other day, that maybe we ahould get married then maybe our situation will work in reverse! Unfortunately, i have no answers to this dilema, but I'm more than happy to hear anyone elses views or experiences on the matter, maybe we could even have a laugh at the whole situation knowing that we will continue to carry on just being content, or is there a remedy for this situation. All I know is that my partner and I were on and off prior to him moving in, then he moved in with the intention that this is what we needed. But now he's moved in the lust has moved out!!! Could it be that I've lost my once loved independance of running my home and kids in the order I wanted? Could it be that I'm fed up of running after a third child in a sence? Could it be that distance makes the heart grow fonder? I do know that that famous saying "can't live with them, can't live without them" is so true in my life.

At first, it could be yes. But when the relationship gone to turmoil, and because you've been together for many years. I guess you stay because you feel sorry for theperson, and or afraid to start all over again. Thinking that no one will accept you just like your long partner does.
