beauticians - gay beautician in a beauty parlor

I have noticed that beauty parlors almost always have gays working as beauticians or manicurists. Gays have invaded this business and they are really good at it. I always hear good comments from friends about their gay beauticians and how well they did their work and how they were well attended to by the gays. Do you prefer gay beauticians when in a beauty parlor?

If I had a choice between straight beautician or gay I would go with the gay because they are so much more creative. They are so good at what they do. Its just comes natural to them.

Hi Lelin1123, I know. I share the feeling. Gays are creative and they are frank to tell you what are good for you or not. I am more at ease with the gay hairdresser that I have than anyone in the beauty parlor. And they are easy to suggest good styles for me to try.

Hi Jahernandezrivas, I have always observed that they do fantastic jobs in a beauty saloon. There are not many of them who work as manicurists. Most are hairdressers and make-up artists. I just love their work more than their female counterparts. I had guys only who are gay who did my hair ever since I learned to go to beauty parlors.

I guess I never really thought of it. I prefer the person that does best on my hair.

beauty parlor - woman having her hair dyed
Hi Laglen, That is true. Generally, it does not really matter as long as we go out beautiful from the beauty parlor. Personally, I prefer the gay hairdresser that I had been receiving good service from for so many years now (almost 10 years now). He is the third gay hairdresser from different beauty parlors that I went. I prefer the gay hairdressers because I can see that they are better in their work. Maybe it was because of this personal sad experience I had with a female hairdresser in the past.

We don't have gay people in my country. It is also against law to be gay. So, I don't have any experience dealing with gay people. Some of my friends said that you can identify if the person is gay or not just by the look. Is it true? I don't know how to deal with them. I am kind of scared of those people because I feel that they are doing something agaist the law of nature.

Hi Daliaj, Gays are accepted in our society now. They do not only work in beauty saloons but they are almost seen in any kind of industry. They are respected because of their professionalism and the kind of craft that they do. Except, of course, for the ones that go beyond the bounds of law, just like other people. I understand how one's culture affects a lot of things.

Personally i'm not particular whether the beautician attending to me is a lady or a gay as long as the beautician knows how to make me look beautiful. I'm more particular of their output.

hairdressers - hairdressers in a beauty parlor
Hi Pinklady227, That usually happens to me when I first visit a beauty parlor. I don't know who are good and who are not. I just have to sit there and let them do their work. Maybe, the second or next visits, I would look for that particular hairdresser if I liked her service. If not, I go to another beauty parlor that satisfies me. I usually have to maintain one particular hairdresser. I personally think it is good for me because he would already know what to do with my hair with very little instructions. I have a gay hairdresser whose services I had been getting for so many years now. I just love his service and his work.
