My activities at mylot has slowed down quite a bit in the recent months. This is because I was busy preparing for this competition.
Well, the competition has started. And I am already in the game!
So far so good. Made a few trades yesterday. Won some, lost some. Overall, still positive.
Have been playing with marketiva so long, my trade size are miniscue compared to the ones I am putting in oanda!
Been playing with a $5 account for so long, suddenly have a $100,000 account, dunno how to put the correct lot size!
Anyways, I am using a new strategy for my trading now. And I sure hope that will work out well for this competition! I so want to win the top prize for the game!
So wish me luck!

ha ha ha ha ha... I wouldn't mind if I win.
Problem is, I have been losing more than winning since the competition started.
Sigh... Looks like my strategy is not as robust as I thought it would be.
More work to be done!
NFP tonight. Going to be one heck of a wild ride!

It is a trading competition where by you are given a $100,000 start fund to trade over a period of one month.
The winner is the one who can make the most money during this period. The catch is, you must use their Oanda platform.
Pretty interesting platform they have. Web-based. It has features that most MT4 platform has. The only thing that I find a con is that you cannot hedge your trades.
If you have a sell and waiting for it to TP, and you want to try to catch the reversal of the trend you entered your first trade in, the system will close your first (sell) trade before it enters your second (buy) trade.
A little irritating. But bearable. Just that you cannot maximize your winnings in a particular trend/range run.
