Why is facebook.com not available in our country?

I do not know why facebook.com is not available in China. I know this is a very famous social networking site in the world. However, I cannot get access to it in China. This bothers me a lot. I really want to make friends and share my feelings on it.

In the past it was available, but it was blocked several months ago. I also think this is a very ridiculous decision. Perhaps our government doesn't want us to know something that we "should not" know. Hopefully one day it will be available here again. I love China

Because the government said that the separatists use these web tools to do separatist activities,so like facebook,twitter ,youtube etc. are blocked.I don't know how to say about this.

Really? That is the first time I have heard about that.. I mean, I didn't know that facebook is banned in your country. Maybe it has got something to do with the government eh?

Is it really? Are you sure about this? That's actually really interesting and I have no idea why either. I wouldn't expect facebook to do something like that, after all they're a social network, not a get money network. They're just meant to allow people to communicate. Maybe some sort of company there was stealing information or it has something to do with government issues or the economy. I'm sorry to hear this.
