Why do people hate other people so much?

I remember during the late part of last year when I was still in the Philippines, I heard about this blog wherein Koreans said something about the Philippines drowning to death and they call the Filipinos brown monkeys. It saddens me of course because it was the time when the Filipinos were all trying to help each other out because if we try to recall, there's been a lot of destructive typhoons that visited the said country. It was really a time for mourning for a lot of Filipinos died and a lot of their possessions like land and crops and even houses have been destroyed. I wonder what bad thing could have the Filipinos done to deserve such comment from others. I mean if I remember it quite right, there are still a lot of Koreans studying and taking advantage of what the Filipinos have to offer. Sometimes I can't help but think, could they just be jealous of the Philippines? Did they have a relationship with Filipinos that didn't end well? I mean I don't really have anything against Koreans for I myself have a lot of Korean friends. I am writing this to open the minds of people Koreans or not to think that maybe we should stop looking into each others' differences and start focusing on to what is there for us to offer to help out. Because I believe that it is when we help out that we could fell genuine happiness...
