As far as the economy is concern we are really far from other country. We all know that. Aside from we are one of the poorest and corrupt country we are also one of the dangerous country for journalism.
But Do we know that their are some country that double the record we have? . We have to bear in our mind that even the most influential, powerful and country hast its own problem.
But what about if being ask if whats the best of being Pilipino? Sure thing I can say a lot. One of it was being family oriented. Supportive and loving.....
How about you?

I can see the resiliency of Filipino to withstand any crisis. If you can just observed around how us Pinoys can really make it through hard times. They can afford to make themselves happy despite the situation and sometimes can even go beyond the limitation they have.

the filipinos are generally warmhearted, kind and loving. traits i used to think to be common among all men. however, as i get to learn about the habits and attitudes of other peoples of this world, i came to realize that these are traits which are akin mostly to filipinos.
yes, we can easily flash a friendly smile. we can easily accommodate queries and small talks even people whom we have never ever met beforehand. where else on earth can we find people like us?
my daughter once told me that she has learned that there others who just too shy to be accommodating. too insecure to accommodate small talks from people they hardly know. yes, this could be another reality.

Filipinos are unique, very unique in nature, place them anywhere around the world, they'll fit in.
that which am not proud of our country being the only christian nation in asia (which some proudly claim) but worst in corruption. Christianity is just superficial, a front to cover evilness. am not saying that all of the Filipinos are, there are few exemptions though.
am proud to be a Filipino! because we're unique - that's it :-)

I love the weather here. It's not so cold nor so hot (well, not during summer haha). It's just right. I also love the food. My boyfriend and I usually go food tripping every week and we write about them in our blog (you can check my profile for the URL if you're into food and places in the Philippines).
I also love touring this place. We've got lots of beautiful sites from Luzon to Mindanao. Baguio, Ilocos Norte's colonial structures, Pagudpod, La Union (surfing), beaches in Batangas, food palces in Tagaytay, beaches in Cebu, wake boarding in Cam Sur.... AND MANY MORE :)
Well, corruption really is a problem but it's just because the people are tolerating it. If we elect better officials, who knows, someday a miracle can happen. lol
