Hello! 2 weeks from now we will be having our house warming. I'm the one in charge of preparing the dessert. Instead of fruit salad, graham and so on... I want to try something new. Can you help me on this? Share your recipe on me, pls! Good day!

Hi kd_fmay, If you love peaches, here's a recipe for peach cobbler. Ingredients: 4 oz butter, melted; 1 cup granulated sugar (3 tablespoons set aside); 1 cup all-purpose flour; 4 teaspoons baking powder; 1/4 teaspoon salt; 1 cup milk; 1 teaspoon vanilla extract; 4 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted and thinly sliced; and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon Preparation: Heat oven to 375 degrees. Pour melted butter into a 2-quart baking dish. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar(1 cup), flour, baking powder and salt. Stir to blend. Stir in the milk and vanilla until blended. Pour the batter into the melted butter. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon on the peaches. Arrange peach slices over the batter. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Serve warm with cool whip cream or or a scoop of your favorite ice cream on the top. This recipe can serve 6 people. You can adjust the amount according to the number of guests that you're having. Good luck on your new home. May it bring you good fortune, peace and happiness.

Try Ellen Krieger's grilled pineapple (or any other fruit) slices, served with ice cream. Easy peasy :) This next suggestion may seem similar like a fruit salad, but how about fruit slices served with melted chocolate or cheese. I like it served one bowl/plate at the center of the table. It makes for a sharing atmosphere :)

Try this one. Everybody will surely love this! Spaghetti Carbonara 1 kg spaghetti (cooked according to package directions) 3 cans (big) nestle cream 2 cans (big) pineapple crushed 2 cans (big) condensed milk 2 cans (big) maling or any luncheon meat (cubed) 2 bxs cheese (cubed) 3 med sized carrots (cubed into small pieces and blanched) Mix everything and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. Hope this help. Enjoy!

If they are sweet toothed, they are going to love this recipe. My family and relatives love this one and everytime there's a party, we always have this in the table. It's a newer way to eat spaghetti with it's white sauce and sweet taste.
