Why some people hate music?

is it true there people really not like music? which I know and I'm sure, everyone likes the music, even if true there some people do not like, usually only for certain types of music, not mean they not like all any kind of music

What?! Some people hate music? how come? Did you encounter a person who doesn't like to listen and just don't give a damn every time someone humming a song and listening in a radio?

Wahts my opinion of them? I dont have one really I mean to each his own ya know....some ppl love music (such as myself) and others may not..just like some ppl love to read and others can't stand it...Everyone is different ya know..And of course there are some ppl who have actually been RASIED to find music offensive, usually for religious reasons...

Well i still yet have to meet someone who has no interest in music. I just wonder what kind of person would that be if he doesn't like any kind of music. They probably must be so bitter about life or i don't know just sick in the mind.

People hate music because it is only for relaxation. It is not recommended to listen to music when solving a tough puzzle because it is the reason of distraction. For some music only sucks the thoughts so that no more thinking is happening because all that is entered in the head is the song and its lyrics. If music is to be hated it is not that so, there is just proper time for music.

Is it really possible to hate music, though you can love some and hate other music. In the XIXth c., Theophile Gautier, a french writer and musical critic, author of the libretto of the best romantic ballet, "Giselle", said after earing bad music : "Music is the most expensive and the most unpleasant of noises." Well, you can truly hate some forms of music, but ALL music, no.

I don't actually know anybody who would say that they hate music. Hate is such a strong word. I agree with you that music can certainly lift your spirits and help improvre a bad mood. I guess some people just prefer other things. Each to their own.

I love music. It plays a big role in my life. As for other people, maybe they hate a certain type of music not really music in general. For example, when I am sad, I hate listening to music with happy lyrics. It just makes me sad even more.
