I hate being in the hospital for a few reasons.
I've been to the ER more times than I can count on my fingers and toes put together. I've been admitted three times.. Once for an outpatient surgery, once overnight due to a severe gallstone attack, and once for about three days for a severe spread of infection. Oh, and I forgot for three days/two nights when I gave birth. I actually enjoyed my time spent at the birthing center, but as a general admit, I hated it.

well, same thing here. i hate hospitals but i need to love them. why? because it's always the one that saves my life.
you see, im into hemodialysis and there's no way that i cant go to the hospital. i always go there like twice a week for the hemo session.
and about the confinement, just last year of december, i got hospitalized due to pnuemonia. oh my! that was horrible. i thought it was my end because i got intubated.
i really hate that.

yes, i have. the first time was three years ago and the second time was a couple of years ago. the first one wasn't my choice but i was dehydrated and the doctor advised me to stay. i was all alone and had no extra clothes or something with me at all. i was supposed to go to my friend's daughter's party then. i stayed there for 2 nights and three days. i had visitors on the first night and my friend and her daughter slept over on the second night.
i should say that the money i spent was worth it because it was like a hotel room with cable TV, sofa, hot and cold shower and nice nurses who spoiled me. maybe because i speak both english and thai. i liked it there because i had a wonderful rest and only cleaners, doctors and nurses came. i enjoyed watching AXN which i don't get in my home cable service. LOL! i didn't like the food though because i was given only light meals to keep my tummy from infection.
maybe you can say that i'm weird because i had myself admitted the second time to take a good rest. i spent more money because i stayed only for a night and a day but the service was awesome because the hospital van sent me home knowing that no one had to pick me up.
i guess you won't like to be in a hospital when you stay in the public or ordinary ward. however if you stay in a hospital with very good amenities like that of a hotel and are well-taken cared of, you can say that your money and rest are worth it.
oh well the hospital i'd been admitted to is the most expensive here in my place. but it was just so amazing to stay there alone yet you could feel the warmth of the nurses who will respond to your call in just a push of a button.
don't get me wrong. i don't like to get sick or to stay in the hospital because aside from spending money, you're using sick leave as well and miss your work.
health is wealth.

I have been admitted to hospital twice, both due to seizure. Felt uncomfortable in hospital as I usually have gained consciousness after being brought to hospital through ambulance. The only thing is that the jaws of my mouth got distorted due to wide opening of my mouth during seizure. But it usually go back to normal for a while. Then I would be thinking of going back home because it's so bored in hospital.

Yes. More times than I would like to remember for more procedures than I would like to remember. The first time I was admitted was when I was born. I was three months early and didn't quite have the hang of breathing. The second time I was admitted I must have been four or so when I had a surgery on my tongue. The third time I was admitted I was 9 or so. That's when I had the big leg surgery that didn't go very well. I've been admitted to the hospital a couple of times when I was having an allergy attack as well. The last big time I was admitted into the hospital was when I had my gallbladder about a year and a half ago. I didn't know what was wrong with me. I just kept having severe stomach pains and throwing up. I thought I might have had food poisoning. But, it turned out to be gallstones. That's a list of all my hospital admissions, but I'm sure I missed a few and I didn't count ER visits! If I had done that, I would have taken up three screens.

I went to the hospital two years ago when I had mononucleosis. I talked to my doctor, because was I yellow in my face and I was feeling nausic. My doctor did some tests, but he wasn't able to find a diagnosis, and he wanted me to spend some time at a hospital. I was admitted the same day, and I was pretty unhappy about it, I wanted to stay at home, but I agreed to go to the hospital so that they could find a diagnosis. I talked to a doctor while I was there, and she was convinced that I had mononucleosis. They didn't get the results of the last tests yet, but she still said that I could go home if I wanted to and just rest in my own bed. I was very happy about that.

I was in a camper trailer that exploded when I was a young girl - I was in the hospital for 5 months. A ten year old not being able to leave a little white room was torture, especially on top of the pain I was already in. I didn't enjoy it at all and I doubt I will ever enjoy being in a hospital!

I got to spend a glorious 3 weeks in the hospital after being run over by a car. Luckily I was in a really good hospital with the best doctors in the world. It is a university training hospital here and I had the head of orthopedics looking after me. I am very fortunate that they were able to save me that night as a girl that enter the hospital right after me, with less serious injuries did not make it.

Thankfully, I have never been admitted to the hospital but have had a lot friends and family that have. It's agreed by all those close to be that being stuck at a hospital stinks. Even when visiting someone there, I can not stand the atompshere of the hospital. The sounds and smells are down right terrible.
