Paypal is safe but I wouldn't do it simply because you have to add your bank account to what will be someone else's paypal account. I guess maybe it also depends on how close you are to this friend. Can you add his bank account to the paypal account? That might be a little better. Good luck to you!

my opinion is that you should not do that. you never know what will end up happening. there more than likely will be a problem. it does not sound very safe. mabey have him get set up with a different kind of online bank account that is available in his country if that is a possibility.

I agreee with the people above me. Dont do it even though he is your friend. You cant seriously trust money with other people except close family. I wouldnt even trust it with my cousin only the people you know by alot. So keep you privacy safe and dont do it because it is not safe.

for me, paypal is safe, however providing information to your friend is not safe. Try to think it. If paypal is not available in his country, he can not use it.

My opinion would be *don't do it* despite the fact that he's your friend. You would be responsible for that account and any problems associated with it. You could find yourself in trouble and it could be seen as fraud.

Paypal is extremely safe. I have had an account with them for years without any problems whatsoever. I have never recieved spam The money has moved quick enough for me to stay with them. I trust them.
