Hi Mylotters,
I would like to know what do you do in your community to make it a better place to live. We hear so many people saying things are so bad. Are you doing anything to better your community? If so please share. I do volunteer work at the Salvation Army in my town. I also volunteer at two other agencies.

My community is very poor and educationally backward. So if I can, I want help them for better education by establishing some good school for them. Many have established schools for them, but actualy it serves their interest better than the interest of my community. For better interest of my community school must provide such education which enlighten my community people's outlook with modern scientific temperment.I choose education only, because education is the engine of all progress.

Ok Bin221,
It looks like you have identified an important need. I would encourage you to go for it. It sounds like you have a great passion for this and you do not have a hidden agenda. It sounds like you can be an asset to this particular cause. Much success to you.

I live out in the county and the road to our houses is a privately-maintained road, not county maintained. I'm on the road committee responsible for hiring the grader, collecting money from the residents for maintaining the road, as well as actually removing rocks from the road, filling up ditches, etc. And just recently, I volunteered to help with Steve Pearce's bid for Congressman from the 2nd District in NM.

That is great. So many times when you find people who live out in rural areas, they say well, I live out in the country and there is nothing for me to do. I'm so glad that you are proving it does not matter where you live there is always something you can do to help. Hats off to you hofferp.
