I am addicted to Mafia Wars from the last few months??

I didn't see this post before I made mine, sorry. I play Fishville, and Farmville. My husband does the Mafia Wars

dude even i was addicted to that game, i used to play it so much, somehow i came out of there, it isn't good to spend lots of time on games, you could instead do something else for that amount of time coz we don't get to learn anything much from playing games, i used to play a multiplayer game 'counter strike' i used to play that game for like hours i guess 6 to 7 hours sometimes and that really beat my computer and it used to turn hot, it is a highly addicting game once you learn to master the weapons! but well i am glad i could come out of there too, games are an addiction if you play them a lot, and so i have decided i would not play any game on facebook, just some silly quizes could be fun. anyways, good day.

I know what you're talking about. I play mafia wars too now. I thought it was stupid because my husband was playing it all the time. i was already on facebook and decided to try when my friends kept inviting me. my level is now higher then my husbands and we both have 3 accounts running mafia wars (mostly to gift to ourselves). but is it addiction? i don't know. it becomes an addiction when it starts to effect your life. like if you're constantly on it not like logging in a few times a day. if you can't go for a few days without playing or you constantly thinking about it. that's addiction. what i think people experience right now is just something new. like a child with a new toy you start to play with it all the time and after a month it starts to fizzle and you play other things. i do play on and off and my husband gets busy and doesn't play. it only takes about 5 min or less a day to play in my opinion so it's not too harmful.
