do we have to choose our friend??

mom says, we have to choose the right friend for us, who we will get along with and share our secrets with..it is hard to find someone we could trust..so the question was,are u choosing the right one??

When I was younger, I used to let friends choose me. But now I am learning to choose my friends. To me, it is ok to have just a few friends as long as they are friends that I consider as worthy. I will keep a distance from those that I do not want in my life but somehow can't get rid of permanently because we have common friends.

Well true, selecting friends of our choice who matches our wavelength is highly important.

if I enter in a new community I will make friend with all people. but as time pass by, I'll try to select them. I don't want to take a risk if I choose the wrong people, they would give bad influence into my life. I'm a vulnerable person I think, so I need friends who really know me, understand me so they could be the shoulder to cry on when I get problem or they give good advices to my problems. I don't need friends who only come when they need me but they're gone when I need their help. that's why I should choose friend of mine.
