Mr. cullinan, now who is better. sachin or ponting?

I really don’t think anybody who watches cricket and knows about the cricketing world, would need another person (Cullinan or whoever) to say who’s the greatest…Sachin Tendultkar and no questions on that. However, I must say that Ponting has come up very quietly and steadily with nobody really paying much attention to him. To Ponting’s credit however, I must say that he has been quite consistent, even while handling the captaincy proficiently. One might argue that Australia has a very strong team to support him however that in no ways takes the fact away that Ponting has 39 centuries to his name and before Sachin embarked on this terrific present form, Ponting was closing on him in terms of centuries.

one can misconstruct it in a lot of ways. 1.cullinan is from south africa and doesnt like a black guy considered as great and so says potning is the greatest.try asking this same question to a english commentator.ponting might even make their list. ask any indian commentator or sub continent commentator or anyone who would want to come to india next time,they will say tendulkar. eventhough i have to disagree with you on captaincy,i will admit that ponting would not be in top 5.simply because i dont like batsmen who shuffles too much and that includes brain lara too. so yeah.has to be tendulkar

Mr. Cullinan have only himself to blame in this world for making Ponting a greater player than Sachin. By no means, we have found out that Ponting can be as humble on and off the field and be so gentle towards other team's members and giving them their deserved respect and never even pointing his finger at someone. It is always such things which come out of players or ex-players when they are not getting best of the attention and so as to get some publicity, they want to point their finger at Tendulkar or involve him in a controversy which has always gone against them as we saw with Adam Gilchrist saying a statement against Tendulkar in his just released book on cricket after he quit playing international cricket. On the other hand, Ponting has always been a great leader and led his teams to many a great victories from world-cups wins to ashes series win, but what he lacks is an attitude which clearly draws a line between being better and being the genius at what Tendulkar is. Ponting has not shown respect to many teams and often is involved with the sledging factor and has encouraged it in his presence. All in all, he can never be able to outdo a player of Sachin's stature!!

Have heard of barking dogs? " Barking dogs never bite" The cullinan was a dog who was just barking like anything to say ponting is better. But Indian never say it in words. We prove it to make people to shut their mouth. This is what is shown by Sachin and made cullinan to shut his mouth. hahahaha, Sachin rocks always
