caught off gaurd by a song and it made me reflect

i was sitting in my desk at work just letting the time pass. i was listening to music but i didn't notice what exactly was playing. after a while my ears caught some lyrics and that's when i started to really listen. it's luther vandross' famous 'dance with my father' song. i have heard it before but it touched me upon reflection of what it's trying to say, it's a sad song and soon enough my eyes tear up a bit. have a song made you reflect on your life and even to a point when it could make you cry? what's this song and when did it happen? i'd love to hear about it. thanks ^^
