"love is blind"

love in an uncontrollable feeling from the heart and it cannot see but people can see since we have eyes, but then its still our mind that control our every feelings, so its the brain who dictates the person of what to do nor what to think and so it was the person nor the lover that is blind knowing he doesnt care about other people but him alone.

heart is blind,its fallen love to whom its like......eyes also cannot judge because heart say "do as i say ".......in asia the called from "eyes to the heart ".

Hi,Welcome to mylot, You are right love is blind but i believe it is blind for short time only,in my opinion if the person is really bad or having some bad habit then one must think twise as they have to face reality sooner or later,& parents always just want to protect their child.but if it's just a opinion difference between parents and our love one then it's not bad to be blind in love.

I do agree that love is blind. Basically because this is the only thing in life that has that distinction. When a person is in love, truly or deeply in love. All the things you see in his doings as a person are good though others see him bad in a way. You are able to forget your ideal thoughts that often lead to going beyond the limits and not taking in consideration of the possible consequences. Hence, when this person had been totally aware by using his analytical thought and has a balance thinking for any, then he will be realize the mistakes on the person but still manage to hope for the best in supporting him. If love is not blind then why are there relationships that came up from an abusive or martyr kind of relationship. Precisely because the person is in love and willing to sacrifice even to the point the rights to freedom and choice are neglected. So as long the person he/she love is with him/her. He/she would give up everything but not the one loved. A love that never experienced being blind in love even once, is not love but a worthless love. I think all people in different situations in life had been blind even once in their life for the sake of love.

in my opinion, love IS blind. most people dont see that there is a person that will love them eternaly and with all of there heart. people search they're whole life trying to find that one special person to share the rest of there life with, when all you have to do is really not look at all. either they will find you, or you will realize that the person that you have been looking for has been right under your nose the whole time. best of luck to all, everyone diserves that special person.

LOVE IS BLIND, yes, this is true for me but we shouldn't take this for its literal meaning. Love is blind because usually people changes there mood suddenly when they find true love and when they are with their loved one. For example, one mood that I can share is my spending habits because when it comes to money, I am very particular with what I spend and as much as possible I will save my money unless it is something that I really want but when love comes.. All of a sudden my treatment towards saving is gone as long as I can be with my love one and we could be happy I don't care about the expenses.. its like i am BLINDED by LOVE that I don't see how I use to act towards saving money and everything just changes when you are inlove but it is such a great feeling! ;p
