When I got married, everything was simple. We didnt have any flower girls or a maid of honor. It was just my husband and me and our families. We think that the ceremony of our wedding is more important than the food that we should eat during the reception. We think that our vows are more important than the decorations and all those gifts and other things in a wedding. We find it impractical to spend thousands of money to spend only for one day during the wedding. It would be more practical to save the money wherein you can spend that for a long time while starting your lives together as husband and wife.

In reality there are a lot of things you need for a wedding. If you're having a quick, plain and simple wedding you may not need so much. I got married 8 months ago and planning it was really quite stressful. There are so many things you need to plan out, for examnple you must get the church and the reception hall booked first. Everything else can work around that. From there you need to choose the people to be in your wedding and help out with it. Then you must find a DJ or band as well as a photographer. If you're having a cake for your guests you must find someone to bake and decorate the cake. You must also remember to buy wedding rings!! See how this can turn stressful, fast? And that's not even 1/2 of the work. lol It's stressful but well worth it. :-)
