I love to cook! I love to hear people say " Yummmmmm" I love to bake. I have been baking since I was 8 years old. I love to make salads. I love to add things to make it interesting. I sometimes top them with popcorn chicken and little bread on side and theirs dinner. My family loves that. I also like to bake a chocolate cake with home made butter frosting. delish!! However its made with confectionary sugar so their is a ton of sugar and calories so I only like to make once a month maybe two. I dont use canned gravies. All of them are homemade. I like to make my own spaghetti sauce. Cook it all day. My favorite thing to make would be Hamburgers in gravy served on a bed of egg noodles. If anyone is interested in any recipes, let me know and I will send you a PM with the recipe. So tell me what you like to cook, bake or put together. Im starving. Happy Eating everybody!! dl

My favorite meal is to cook: a whole turkey along with green bean casserole and sweet potato casserole. So yes, that's why I love Thanksgiving day so much! I cook this meal about once every other month. It's kind of my comfort food. Mmmm, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

I'm a decent cook, but for some reason have yet to master the stuffing! That's the one thing I usually just use out of the box (stove top). Also with this meal, I've got to have cranberry sauce! I never like it as a kid, now I simply must have it on my turkey and dressing.

I love cooking different varieties of food from Indian, Continental, Italian to Chinese. My family loves Chicken I cook especially the gravy. I know the way to a man's heart is through his stomach...My husband likes my food I prepare and also I have a great interest to experiment and cook. The non-vegetarian side of Indian cuisines comprises of many juicy, tender, mouth watering delicacies made with eggs, chicken, fish and more..I also cook vegetarians such a some of the famous recipies like Navratan Korma, Shahi Paneer and more. My family likes food like chowmein, chilli chicken, fried rice which I prepare. A sumptuous meal is always incomplete without sweet dish like gulab jamun or kulfi or gajjar ka halwa. I cook Gajar ka halwa very well.
Thanks.

Cindrella Im sorry I am just getting back to you but my daughter just finished chemo. I have an answer that I think could be used for kids and adults. Salad. My daughters friends, my friends, neighbors etc. All ask for the salad. Its simple really. I put whatever I like or the people I am cooking for like. For example, Start out with the basics, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, Red onions, then I add bean sprouts, boiled eggs(sliced)these are a must, Feta cheese, carrots, you name it. then on the top add popcorn chicken, chicken nuggets, Fried pork, spare ribs, steak, whateva you pleza. I serve it with pita bread, tortillas, italian bread(toasted or not) Its delish! The other idea is a foot long sandwich. I buy the long loaf of french bread and build a sandwich on it. Usually I use salami, cheese, capicola(hot), mortadella, all my veggie fixings. then I cut it. Use toothpicks to keep it together. Serve with chips and pickles of course. DOnt forget the hot peppers Good luck Cind! Im sorry I didnt get back to you in time for your guests. I did want you to know that I wasnt ignoring you. I hope these help you in your next dinner. You watch people are going to ask you to make it all the time. I promise. Happy Salads and sandwiches. dl

I love to cook Carbonara Fettuccine. I consider this as my specialty, the white pasta sauce mixed with lots of mushrooms, Italian seasoning, bacon and tender beef. My family and friends said that they love my carbonara because of its perfect taste. But I do have a confession to make: this is my only specialty. I'm a terrible cook when it comes to other dishes. LOL.

You have to start somewhere Arystine! Carbonara isnt an easy thing to make. The seasoning of this dish has to be just right. From what your friends say you have perfected it. If you can season that, you can make anything. Seasoning is the trick sista. I think you've got the gift. dl

Some people just have that cooking gene. It sounds to me like you've been blessed. Lucky you! You're family and friends are very lucky. One thing I hate about being the one that cooks is that everytime there's a family party I am the one that everyone assumes will cook. As much as I complain, I love it. Happy Cooking! dl

Popcorn chicken sounds lovely, I would love the recipy on that one!
I like to cook but because I work a lot and have a part time higher education going along that aswell, cooking is one of those things that easily has to pitch in. Baking is nice, I liked to bake as a kid and I still do. Making brownies is a lot of fun and you can add all kinds of things to make it interesting. Once my neice and I filled them with crunchy M&M's it was delicious and hilarious at the same time. Caramel brownies are delicious aswell, very different but a good kind of different.
I also like to make fish in a butter-creamsauce with saffran and beans.
A friend of mine once cooked it for me and it's great. I got the recipe from her and I make it occaisonaly because it's a rather fat dish (because of the sauce) but it tastes really good

I like making meals for myself, and my partner George. I normally cook hamburger, pork chicken, ham various different things. When I cook for myself though I love mac and chease. That's my all time favorite food. I used to make it from scratch, but since I can't eat it as often as I used to I eat it out of the box. not the best but I rather do that then have chease go bad.

That make me hungry too!!! LOL! Actually when I was still living with my parents, hey wont allow me to cook because I might mess up. But when I moved in with my partner, he encouraged me to try it. He also did not complain of the stuffs that I cooked for him. I am an all around cook now. I continue to experiment and learned to trust my instincts. I also love to prepare salads with cheese and salsa instead of salsa and cheese with nachos or tacos. I am more into Filipino foods first and hopefully will learn international dishes as well.

Soup and stews is my favorite thing to cook.
My son cooked a chicken soup today for the
church. We done this to feed the hungry, the
ones that were in need of a hot meal. It
turned out good. I make a deer and chicken
stew that is very good. I guess these are
out favorite things to cook.

I like to cook on the grill. I can cook a steak pretty good, and I also like to cook things like ribs and Boston Butts on the grill. I am not very good at cooking on a stove, but give me a grill, and I can cook just about anything.

I honestly can't pinpoint one thing that is my favorite thing to cook. I find that these days I am starting to enjoy cooking far more than I did when I was younger because now my children are starting to take an interest in cooking and I find that the time that I spend in the kitchen these days serves as a bonding time with my children. So, I would say that my favorite things to cook these days are any dishes that my children can help me with.

Hey friend,
Though I'm not my house cook, I love cooking. My most favourite is cooking meat. The other cookings of my liking are noodles, egg omelets, khichuri, paratha, kebab, milk-tea, coffee and other tasteful delicacies of Bangladesh. They are so yummy!
Have a tasty eating.

Do you have recipes that practically uses all the things you can find and grab in a general kitchen? I like to cook without MSG's and artificial sweeteners and flavors and preservatives. Like you I also like cooking my own gravy. Can you enlighten me on that egg noodles you mentioned I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that or it is just called differently here in my side of the world? Thank you!
I have not tried baking yet because we have no oven and so I cannot cook those recipes that requires oven cooking *frustrated* hahaha
