This is not always true , slim persons are not always healthy and fat are not always susceptible to disease, good discussion..
Thanks for sharing.

No! As in totally no! I know a number of slim people who are not healthy and die at a young age. Being slim is not an assurance that of a long life nor a good health... Having a long life depends on your way of living.

I don't agree with the statement that being slim means long life...although yes, fat people would be susceptible to diseases, lots of them. Being slim doesn't automatically mean being healthy because it depends on an individual's lifestyle, diet, and genetics. Some may have vices, other have genetic influences. There are actually slim people with high blood pressures. There are also people whose body build is really slim and no matter how much they eat, they don't grow fat but in turn, the food they take can be junk food or high cholesterol foods. I am a fat person yet my blood pressure is slightly below the 120/80 value. Although, I am planning to lose weight because I want a healthier body and I don't want to die early.

Not really because slim people can get just as ill also slim people are just as lightly to get run over or be in a crash. Etc

No i don't, slim doesn't mean carriers long life,it depends how healthy is he/she,some people tend to be chubby or fat are quiet healthy and some slim individual are quiet sickly Lol.Long life depends on how healthy they are and how exactly they care about their health and themselves.

strongly disagree... our health comes from our lifestyle... eat, food, doing sports, etc.
