Everybody want to express their views and ideas. But only a few are good listeners. And only good listeners can really understand the ideas and provide good feedbacks, and continue any discussions or debates in a great way. If people are interested only in what they are thinking, the world of ideas would shrink and knowledge will gradually diminish and progress will become hindered.
We should listen to everything we think can be useful, even to the sounds of nature. We don't know when will it help us.
There is a theory that a few minutes before earth-quakes, animals and birds would make some strange noises as if they are warned. We could help ourselves if we care to listen to them. Speak little, listen more.
Are you a good listener?

I am a good listener when it comes to discussions and arguments. I don't even try to listen to the 'nature'.
I think that the theory about animals strange behavior before earthquakes was proved a while ago, but I am not sure.(National Geographic support that theory as well)
Being a good listener doesn't mean accepting the speaker's opinions. I can listen to someone, understand what he says, and yet- not agree with him.
