Why so many people want to be a celebrity, actress or actor?

ya,because many people always think if they will be actor or actress they get much money, get rich, get welfare and so on. they never think if become actor or actress, they become stressed too. they only saw the visible side not invisible side. but the main factor is from media too, too much watch a "good news" to be celebrity.

Some reason are those you write above. Not all pretty and talented people wanted to become actors or actresses. Some were born with natural talent and that they wanted to show those talent or use those talent thru being in movie industry. The power of being famous or being well known could be a great attraction to people who wanted to be worshiped or praised by crowds. Some people wanted to become celebrity for the knowledge that,it's one of the easiest way to earn money. But there are celebrity who were born millionaires already...maybe,they just wanted to become more famous...or,it's really their love for acting that urge them to become one. Too many reason...for each individual person...no one knows the exact reason,but we are sure....some people want fame,money and power too.

I think that everyone goes through a stage where they want to be famous. Some people try out for roles on t.v. shows, commercials ore the newer reality shows. I do not think that I would want to be famous. Of course when I was younger I dreamed of being a singer or actress, but now I would much rather stay home and watch the people who are actors, actresses and singers. I've heard good and bad things about the career of being a star, but would not want to find out for myself.

I will never understand why so many people are looking for their 15 minutes of fame and more. Especially these people that have not a bit of talent such as Heidi Montag and her husband, or the Jersey Shore crew. They are all wannabe's that when they are on TV I just change the channel. I can't waste my time watching them on TV. Between them all you can't come up with one brain.

we cant blame others to join contest for their hopes of to become a celebrity someday as we all know that they are well paid. means they earned a lot than those who worked hard in office and other field. aside from big money they can also be famous and get a lot of attention from other people. besides, even me if given a chance and only if i have talent then i will also try my luck, who knows that i can be one of the top model of actress someday. but since i dont have any then im just contented being a regular person.

Well I don't think it is an easy money... Just imagine how hectic their schedules are. They also need to stay up untill morning just to finish the shootings... You must be good in memorization and dialog deliveration... Cameras and people are always there wherever they go-- no privacy... Need to deal with lots of showbiz issues and intrigues. I believe it is also their heart desires. If an actress or actor is only after the money, I believe she or he would not be in the show business for so long... because just like in any other field-- the secret of success is your passion! You need to put your heart in anything that you do... You might be in the show business but that would definitely not going to last long if your motivation only is MONEY or fame... Eventually, you will get bore and stress out. Well being a celebrity needs TALENT. It is not all beauty, right dencher315. Not all people can sing, dance and act... it is a talent...

Yes so many they like to be famouse and one of celebrities? I do also like that becuause I love beauty and it is good to share it with media as well, I do not think if that is easy job of something like without talent. that job needs talent as well, and being celebrities is not easy job but an interesting desire. I always had dream to become a singer or a professional beautision in film industry. I love that, and I know that being a celebrity is not an easy or without talent proffesion. that is too difficult to be that.

I would have agree and say people believe it is a shortcut for being rich, But I blame the Media and government for a big part of this- as we get bombarded with celeb gossip and adverts trying to sell us everything made under the sun and the government for make times so bad that people make do with only trying to get a easier way out. The music industry are the main villains as celebs are proclaimed to be GODS and Music has a major influence in the way we think,eat and live our lives. People just want easy access to this lavish lifestyle but they do not even consider that if they do even qualify for becoming a celeb. Not only do you have to be a good actor but you have to constantly lie and live a life in which you never get peace. :) :)
