Do you participate in lotteries? How much money do you spend weekly? Are you an addict gamer or a moderate one? Do you aspire to be rich by buying lottery tickets? Have you ever won any money prize so far? Would this encourage you to spend more money on lottery tickets? I am not much fan of lotteries to be honest. I always learned that I have to work hard if I have to earn money. What do you think about this subject?

I used to join the lottery last year. But due to being low on funds me and my hubby stopped. When the stakes are high we sometimes join. I remember I joined back then and won around a hundred pesos or more and even just a small amount made me wonder how much more can I win if I buy more than one ticket.

I've never participated in a lottery. I have won quite a few prizes, but not on the lottery. I think chances of winning the lottery are way to slim and based on nothing, so I rather place sport bets, where at least I can base my choice on some facts, as the team's or player's previous performance. I'm not a regular player, I only do it now and then.

I do participate in lotteries, once in a while.. haha =D BUt i have only won once, in my years of playing lottery.. lol =D Even though it seems easy, with 1/9999 chance, and there are 23 sets of numbers to play around with.. haha =D
BUt most of the time, 9976/9999 of the luck will be with us instead of the minoriy!! lol =D As such, it's best to play small, and treat it like a pastime, for some little leisure, but not make it into a habit ^_^

I do not personally participate in lotteries because I do not think there is any chance of me or my wife winning so there is no use to waste the money on a ticket that will not win,and I have had friends that would buy tickets and they would spend ten to twenty dollars a week on lottery tickets, and I think they were addicted and when it came to winning I think they won like five bucks one time or maybe it was ten I do not remember, and I think they used that as a reason to buy more, and I also had an aunt and uncle that would go all the way to Virginia to buy lottery tickets and I remember when I was littler,my aunt and uncle would take me and my cousin across the state line so they could buy tickets.

The chances of winning in a lottery is pretty slim. I could get him by a lightning bolt first than win in a lottery. Lol. No offense to those who partake in this. But its just not me. I've never won much in my lifetime. I've notice some people are better blessed with stuff like this. They participate in games, contests, even radio program contests and they win everytime. Some guys just have it in them. Done that been there. No such luck in that area. That's why I settle for working myself to the bone rather than waste my energy on some game of chance I could never win. I however understand that some lottery proceeds are used to help out in charities and all that. So instead I help out in these communities in my own way rather than use my money on lotteries and such.

No I do not participate in any lotteries. My husband used to it drove me nuts to see him waste so much money when we needed it. He would end up spending $50 or more sometimes and it was just not good..and those scratch off tickets.. So far I have him stopped but on occasion he will still buy a power ball lottery ticket or a few scratch offs.

Hi ronald. Yes I do, though I don't play all the time. Sometimes I go weeks or even months without playing. And when I do play it is only a dollar here, a dollar there, so it certainly doesn't break the bank. And even though I know the odds of winning are pretty much against me I still have to try. Because as the old saying goes, you can't win if you don't play.
As far as winning anything from playing the lottery, I've won a few dollars here and there through the years. So even though I didn't win the big one I didn't lose much either! LOL
Happy mylotting!

I used to buy a lottery ticket every week and over the years I have not won any more than fifty dollars. These days I only buy one when it’s a jackpot with a huge prize. Last week we had a twenty million draw; I was in it and I didn’t win! (Surprise!) I will stick to buying a ticket when there is a jackpot, can’t afford any more! The way I see it if you are fated to win, you will win with the one ticket you have the one time you play.

I think you are right though, I'm not that fantasize either. Working hard for the money is the way of living. Personal opinion, I can't even beat a 2 digits game and how am I suppose to win more than 7 digits betting . One more thing, luck doesn't always on my side. That is for real , your subject is perfect.

I am not the lottery whiz of my family. I have a brother-in-law who is so addicted to playing the lottery. He is very lucky at winning. He could almost call it his second job.

Yes, but I'm not really a big fan. I try my luck if the jackpot money is high. But I don't spend too much for it. I've got nothing to loss anyway if I try my luck. :) Even if my dad owns a lottery franchise, I don't place bets regularly... only if I feel like playing.

I don't buy loto tickets that often to be quite honest. I don't need to. I don't believe in luck. Once and a while, George, my partner will eaither buy them or buy scratch off tickets. But, due to the fact we don't have much in the way of money (and he is barely keeping more then me) we don't play as often as we used to. What we would get back isn't worth it to me.

I only played in Lotteries when the jack pot it high for example when it reached 100 million pesos in my country, but there are times that I played when the jack pot is not that high. From where I came from Lottery is a big deal for poor people like me hehe it helps us get away from poverty and also when we participate in lotteries we can also help the poor people because our lottery is also for charity, 50% worth of the tickets will be given to charity for the poor people who needed health care. When poor people cant afford to pay for their hospital bills they will go to the lottery company to ask for money to pay for their hospital bills and they will be given right away if you have the hospital bill with you as a proof of evidence to receive the money. hehe Lotteries are great in helping the poor. I don't know of other countries if they too have the same system like ours. ^ ^

I spend between $3-$5 a week on lottery tickets, depending on how much money I have, and how high the jackpot is. sometimes I'll buy a couple of tickets if there is a special (i.e. when the Cash For Life has more prizes to offer) otherwise, I'll just spend a bit, and go on with my life.

Occasionally. Usually when I do it it's for charity. Although when I go to a march and stay in a hotel I play my room number in the state lottery of where I am. It's kind of a tradition. Every Christmas I get scratch off tickets as gifts. I also give some too. I'm the unlucky person in these regards. I never win anything I enter for.

Though not an addict on it...I do take lottery tickets on a regular basis with a certain number combination for prospective gain. I would put a definite check on the sum of money being spent on lotteries. Winnings though not surprisingly enough have set in ...in fact it kindles in me the hope of getting a jackpot.

Hi Ronald
At one time I always used to buy lotterie tickets, going by the saying that if you don't try you never know if you could win..yes here and there I won a small sum of money nothing to go home and talk about, but now I don't bother doing the lottery because also half the time you never win anyway-so what is the use of throwing money away you may as well save hat you would of put on the lottery instead at least that grows with interest...LoLo

I do occassionally play the lottery, but it is not very often at all. If I happen to be feeling a bit lucky, I might stop and buy a ticket or two. I am more likely to play scratch-off tickets than I am to play for the "big money".
I feel that as long as a person is playing the lottery in a responsible manner, and not neglecting the bills or necessities in life, nor putting themselves in debt, it is okay to play. Frankly, I think that the odds of winning are not very good, but sometimes, it is fun to play just for the fun of it.

NO, I haven't. Though sometimes I planned to buy lottery tickets, I decided to back off because I might get addicted into it just like others, with no probability that I could win. Maybe in due time I will pluck some courage to do that.hehe
