Where was God before he started his creations? When he started creating man, He stated "Let us create man in our own image." To whom was he talking to?

If all were to be revealed it would surpass our comprehension as the mind of God is far more complex then ours. To understand God, people need to look outside the box and think with an open mind.

Hello renaissance2010. God instructed His prophets and apostles to write the scriptures in a way that mankind will understand it and they were commanded to write only those words they were told to write. I am not a Bible scholar. I do not even know what chapter and verses were the story of the creation is written but I do know the story exists in the Bible. Same as to the questions I brought out. The answer is in the Bible and as you can read on this webpage, learn2earn answered the second question. I hope I can bring your attention to go the scriptures because it is the best way to learn about God and Jesus and not just through the mouth of claiming-to-be preachers whose interest is not salvation but business. Thank you for the reply and may the good things come upon you.

It is taught in the church I am investigating, and in the scriptures that God was speaking to Jesus Christ.
It is taught also in the church I am investigating that God was also speaking with the spirit children that he foreordained to be his leaders in their mortal existence. Such as Abraham, Moses, Alma, Nephi, Isaiah, etc.
We were all spirit children of God, before we came to this earth. We came to this earth to gain a body, to join with our spirit, and learn and grow to become more like unto our Heavenly Father. To be able to return unto him as whole beings.
We made promises as spirits that we would accept Jesus Christ as our savior before coming to this existence, and I believe it is said, 1/3 of the "Host of Heaven" decided they would not accept this and fell as spirits unto Satan.
I am investigating the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and thus far, I have no reason to believe that they have it wrong. Any many reasons to live their principles and their guidelines. But, I could be wrong, so I ask that you Pray to see the Truth. For by sincere prayer with real intent, in the name of the Son Jesus Christ, the truth will be revealed to you, through confirmation of the Holy Spirit.
With Appreciation.
