Eye lasic anyone ?

Has anyone done eye lasic here ? What do you think ? Or if anyone else that hasnt done it, what do you think of it ? Ever since a teenager I have a bad eyesight (I used to read in the dark as a kid) so I start using contact lenses for many years, but about 2 years ago I could no longer wear contacts because it has scratched my cornea. So I wore glasses and I HATE IT!! But what else can I do ? Anyhow, prior to this I never gave much thought for lasic, but since I hate wearing glasses so much, then I decide to have lasic done for both eyes. The procedures all went smoothly and I could see clearly now. This whole experience makes me think that all of this time, I have take my eyesight for granted. I didnt remember what its like to have a good eyesight, to be able to see clearly as soon as you woke up, what its like really be able to read the fine prints. And thanks to Lasic I have it all back. It will never be as good as the original way that God has made it, but its pretty good. Certainly much different from wearing contacts or glasses. I just wanted to raise awareness for those who still have your good eyesight, it is a blessing, do not take it for granted, because nothing else will ever be as good as those eyes again. Please share your thoughts :)
