It doesn't matter how many times I have seen these episodes in fact I have seen them so many times some I know word for word. But they are so great and still hold up to this day. The Andy Griffith Show - wasn't the same after Don Knotts left. Andy and Don were great together and who doesn't want to live in Mayberry. All In The Family - Great cast Carroll O Conner and Jean Stapleton were perfect as Archie and Edith. Same for Sally Struthers and Rob Reiner as Mike and Gloria. This show will live on forever it still holds up today. Great writers and great actors keep these shows alive. Leave It To Beaver - Beaver and his bff Larry always getting in trouble. Didn't we all have a friend like Larry running off and leaving us holding the bag. A few to add would be Fraiser Family Ties Fresh Prince of Bel Air alright gang your turn!

I grew up with the Andy Griffin Show, Little House on the Prairie, Gilligans Island, the original Star Trek and much much more. When ever I get the chance I try to watch them if they are on tv.

Little House on the Prairie what a great show and again still holds up today very well. A great family show and to repeat another great cast. We all loved Laura and loved it when Mrs. Olsen and Nellie got it. Come on you know we didn't want anyone messing with our Laura.

I saw that... wasn't that classic! That was the best "finale ending" I think I have seen of any show. I liked that ending better than "Who Shot JR" cliffhanger. Talk about out of the blue and out of no where! That was a great moment in TV

Those are great shows I forgot about Rhoda that was really good. The Bob Newhart Show another one I forgot to list. I loved how when Bob ended his newer series Newhart the ending was a dream and Bob woke up and they were back on The Bob Newhart Show one of the best endings to a series ever.

That was the best ending to a show ever. I remember everyone was talking about that the next day. It was great that never leaked out to the media they would have ruined it.

I utterly adore I Love Lucy. It was my favourite show when I was a kid and I still love it today. I bought almost all of the seasons on DVD. I had to get them shipped from the States because they're not really aware of it over here in the UK, only The Lucy Show, which wasn't as good. They're still funny and I still think Lucille Ball was a genius!

The Lucy Show wasn't that good with her kids. Lucy was only at her best when she had Vivan Vance with her. Those two brought out the best in each other.

I also have many favorite classic shows. All in the family is certainly one of my top favorites. I also really enjoy Golden Girls, I would say that I really enjoy watching Estelle Getty. I also like to watch Three's company and The Jeffersons. There have been so many classic shows made. I just do not think that they have made them that good anymore.

You are right they don't make classics like that anymore. I was never into Friends or now it's Two and A Half Men. I know they are popular but I never thought either one were funny.

Wow, there are so many you name a lot of mines. The Andy Griffin show was a all time favorite for me. I still sometimes wath them especailly when I need a good laugh. I have not seen All in the Family in while, but I did enjoy them. I like the Jeffersons and The Cosby Show and Family Matters. I still watch them from time to time. The Munsters' were good too.

I like to watch alot of those old sitcoms such as: Whos The Boss, The Cosby Show, Family Ties, All in The Family, Roseanne(although that ones not as old) and more. I also like those classic black and whites like I love Lucy, The Honeymooners, Leave it to Beaver, The Three Stooges. I can watch any of these shows over and over even if Ive seen the episode 100 times. they are just so much better than most of the stuff that is out today in my opinion.

Who's the boss and Cosby forgot about those and yes very well written. You can include Roseanne once they make it to TV Land they are classics. And yes comedy shows aren't written well at all. I don't watch any of the new comedies.

Well they do show Roseanne on Dejaview channel...does that count? Oh and I also forgot to mention Growing Pains and Golden Girls which are two other 80s sitcoms that are awesome. I love how they were actually genuinly funny back then and not the stupid funny that they tend to do today with comedies.

I loved Sylvester and Road Runner. Even though I wasn't supposed to sometimes I did want Wile E Coyote to get Road Runner. Only cause I would feel sorry for him. Every time he tried he would get hit with something.

Golden Girls - I LOVE this show! I hope it continues to play for a good while longer....
Oh gosh, hard to believe all those are classics now but I did enjoy all of those shows when I was a kid. Hey! Thanks for making me feel old! Now I'd LOVE to add "Golden Girls" to the list for now it's a classic too especially with two of the shows characters are gone now. I still laugh my butt off at their antics and awful comments to each other. Ask my hubby, he'll tell ya! LOL

When i was growing up i like the mickey mouse club and watched it all the time and wish it would still air for great memories. I always like the flinstones and the Jetsons. Those were some great cartoons back in the day for me. Saturday morning cartoons where the thing to watch. I also like duck tails, when i came home from school i use to watch that and the show with cory and tapenga (cant thing of the name of it). I also used to watch save by the bell and even the fresh prince of bel air. There were so many good shows back then, now a days there isn't all thse shows for the kids to watch and maybe that is why the crime rates go up in towns because kids are bored.

Those are all great cartoons and I watch them all even Saved By The Bell. I didn't like the next generation. I did watch the college years which wasn't on long. It was okay.

My favorite classic shows for me were "Father Knows Best", because they alway had drama but they all still came together at the end being a happy loving family, " I Love Lucy" because of all the funny gimbics she would get herself into, "Leave it to Beaver" who didn't want a mom at home when you came home from school. I also loved Family Ties, Three's Company and Fame.

My mom was a stay at home mom but back then it was much easier. But yes it was great having mom home. Fame that was a great show even when the kids would come and go. Very well written.

Right now I am watching the Dean Martin comedy show. IT's great! I like the old Abbot and Costello and a lot of the old comedian duos like that. I like Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin. But I like Starsky and Hutch. I also like Mork and Mindy!

My absolute favorites were Giligan and the other were the Munsters they were very interesting and they were hilarious without any of the weird stuff they have in shows now, like cartoons that are for adults, what an oxymoron.

There are so many tv classics. It's hard to choose. A few of my all time favorites are lost in space, Gilligan's Island and Bonanza. I could watch these shows again again. They never lose their appeal.
