Forum Superiority Syndrome. It's just my third day here. But I noticed there are a lot of mylotters here who felt like they enjoy spotting those noobs here, checking if their posts violate the mylot rules and report them to the admin....

I don't think those people who point out your violations are there to put you down. They are there to guide you. Violations are violations, there's no getting away with it. There are violations that we may not be aware of not because we did not read the rules but it just slipped our minds (I'm guilty of this too ) Those guys who post in our discussions are just posting a comment to remind us so we will not commit the same mistake. It's just like extending an arm since they will not really earn anything from their post since it will just be deductive once that discussion is deleted. We are here to support each other so enjoy! Cheers!

good answer ybong.... i'm actually referring to all the rude people out there... or maybe they just don't know how to express their concerns in a very polite and sober manner...just like you did now...thanks..and sometimes they even curse you...really...and me, all i could do is disregard them, unless i wanna be like them...

I agree with you. Reactions of people vary on how you explain things to them. Some are just plain rude. They may be right but instead of eliciting a good reaction, the other person instead turn into defensive mode. What could have been a nice intention turn into an exchange of words which could have been avoided in the first place. I'm afraid there are a lot here but they consist of a minority. You're right also that some just don't know how to express themselves in their haste to beat others to point out your mistake . Usually it's more of the latter. But really, they are just concern citizens.

We do have people who report discussions that are violations, but we also have a lot of oldtimers who help the new people out. Like I said in that last one, go read the guidelines, then you won't have the problem with things getting deleted. Hope you like it here!

lol so true so true. the forum police. They usually make up their own guidlines, because the stuff they complain about isn't even in the rules.
