If we think something is beautiful then we went everyone to agree with us. beauty may be intersubjective, but is it objective? Can we argue rationally about something is beautiful? beauty as that which brings enjoyment to the person who looks or contemplants. is nature beauty ever better than constructed beauty? like art and music. when we say something is beautiful, are we recommending to others that they should take delight in it? exactly what is beauty?

Actually I think this is one everyone for the ages will always wonder about. I know what might be Beautiful to one person may not always be for another, and many times people look at more than looks to determine True beauty as well. But I do know that for me to be considered beautiful you need to portray a look that says some intellegance and knowledge as well as knowing more about what you really are wanting to get out of life.

Yes, absolutely, we see different the world in different ways. What one person may see as good looking, one might see to be plain or rather ugly. Everyone looks at the world through a different set of eyes. In fact, get ten people in a room and ask their opinion on how someone or something looks, and I believe that you would get many different opinions. So yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Which is a good thing for a number of reasons. After all, if we all saw things the same way, then the world would be a very boring place. No one wants to live in a world where everything is the same. We can only give our opinion and that might not match up with the perceptions of everyone else.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There are some beautiful looking people in the world but their personalities make them look ugly. A person without a beautiful face can make up for it in personality which then will make them beautiful from within which then radiates outward. Its how we see a person as a whole.

A part of my landscaped garden - Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder but not many appreciate it.
Let me give you my own experience. I have a landscaped garden designed by me with a waterfall, birdbath and a systematic wilderness which is ideal for inviting birds. Not to say I do not have flowers. I have plenty of them but the choice has been for easy to maintain types. I have several fruit trees the focus being to attract birds. When I get visitors hardly anyone will admire the beauty of my garden excepting some art loving people have been amazed at its beauty. Those who have not noticed its beauty have been looking for flowers of their choice. So the saying beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder holds good for me.

Anything that is pleasing to the sight and it gives pleasure to the senses is beautiful. If something appears beautiful to me then it would appear beautiful to you as well. However, if it appears beautiful only to you and not to me then of course I would say that the beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
