The epitome of leadership is Jesus Christ. He serves as an inspiration to become selfless leaders willing to serve their fellowmen. In order to become an efficient and effective leader, you should be equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude. Indeed, it is very important that you know the basics or foundations of leadership. Based from my seminar attended in the CEFA-VNIVERSITAS, there are 3 C's of Leadership. First, you should have Competence. This entails your knowldege and skills as a leader and manager. It is vital that you know your purpose or mission. Techical skills are needed to execute the tasks properly. Second, you should have the Character. Why? Because if you have the good attitude that spells a difference in dealing different kinds of people from all walks of life. So, be role model. Always have the passion in everything that you do. Lastly, the Charm. As we all know, leadership is influencing others. That is why if you have that charm within you that captivates other people and persuade them to be part in nation building, I bet this world would be a better place. Now, do you have that 3 C's of Leadership? You may have those three if you will strive hard and be the best you can be and follow Jesus Christ as a leader wityh love, faith and wisdom.
