Today I saw a news.Obama summoned Health summit but got lack of compromise. And there are 70% citizens against Health Care.I deem Health Care can benefit general citizens. Why so many citizens object?

Something you should understand is no one is against "healthcare" itself. What we are against is a complete government take over of it and running our economy in to the ground. Our nation was founded on the principals of minimal, non intrusive government and it is a system we would like to see preserved. Everyone wants things fixed a bit to bring down the cost of healthcare though. We just don't want the government in our lives in the process.

Beats me. There certainly can't be many people like me who are spending a fortune for healthcare premiums that are against reform. Where I live in Suburban Philadelphia, people have lawn signs that say "Healtcare Reform Now". I guess we are not mainstream America because this area is definitely not in the 70%. We cannot even imagine people not wanting to reform the US health care system.

I guess our whole state must be out of the mainstream, irisheyes, because I see the same thing here, up in northeastern/central PA. Annie

Bottom line: It's a bad bill. It really doesn't matter how President Obama or the Democrats package it. The other thing that has Americans unhappy is the "bought" votes. The votes that were obtained by special deals for some states. It doesn't treat everyone as equals either. Instead, it favors special groups. Not to mention, the overall cost and tax raises with unemployment rates near ten percent. Aside from that, the implementation of such a bill has the power to cause mass confusion, and major legal challenges. Of course, if they do pass it, the democrats are going to pay dearly in the elections. It is not like Congress is even listening any more. That health care summit accomplished absolutely nothing expect make the President look extremely arrogant.

According to Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and lately Linda Douglass, the White House communications director, it's because we're all too stupid to understand their plan. I hope that eventually the American public get tired of their elected officials calling them stupid and that we soon get to call all of the above-named "unemployed".

We are not againt healthcare reform...we are just against this bill...because it is not a good solution to our problems. If they come up with a good solution I will support it...but so far they have not.
